The passing of our Mum meant we had to sell her home, which is already a stressful experience without the added sadness associated with it. We approached other estate agents to compare and contrast services, and which offered more competitive rates, but decided to choose Manners and Harrison because of their professional approach when initially contacting them and their obvious excellent local knowledge of the local market gleaned through decades of experience. All the staff in the office were very helpful and responsive at all times, but a special mention must go to Anita who kept us informed at all stages of the process. Her manner is calm and collected, she is extremely helpful and kept us up to date with what was happening via regular emails, text messages and phone calls. We've been very happy with the service provided, thank you.

Cannot fault the whole team. Our home was sold within a week and throughout the whole process Anita kept in contact and helped us keep the sale and purchase of our next home on track.

Just wanted to write a review highlighting the great and professional work from Jordan Brannigan! In 2023 he helped me buy my first home, he sorted all the mortage side of things and added extras! I would never ever sell my house with this company! They are beyond a joke. I have had 4 calls in 2 days from this company asking why I chose a different agent, I’ve been very polite and spoken with each person. Don’t know why they keep calling me it’s almost like nobody in the branch communicates with each other! I’ve asked them twice now to stop calling me, any chance of me putting my house up with them is gone!

Ended up with a buyer who said they had the value in cash and then didn’t after they had negotiated a immediate cash sale then strung it out for many months costing me council tax for a dead property and to top it off it ended up being me who ended up chasing all the paperwork and solicitors to drive the sale. Having approached 4 different agents in the sale of my home, Manners & Harrison stood out by a mile. I initially met with Michelle, who was warm, welcoming and took the time to talk me through valuations in addition to sharing research on the area to reaffirm her suggestions.
It was the lovely Anita that I dealt with throughout; she’s nothing short of amazing and a real credit to the team. I was kept up to date on any progress with our sale and she was always just at the other end of the phone or promptly responding to emails for any queries or questions I had. She has such a calming, friendly but professional manner and nothing was ever too much trouble for her - Anita made what could’ve been a very stressful experience so easy and was such a pleasure to deal with.
Our buyer actually saw our house before the professional pictures were taken and it officially went to market so M & H were very proactive in the sale!
A special mention for Adam - for always answering the phone in such a friendly manner and leaving the most polite voicemail messages ever! For James - for giving great financial advice and making what I initially found scary, very stress free. And to Peter, for always being so helpful, accommodating and understanding!

From start to finish our experience with them has been extremely professional. Some of the names that we dealt with was Anna, Peter, Matthew and in particular Anita was amazing. From their first visit and then through all of the various stages (valuation, photography, advertising, viewings, feedback, negotiation etc..) the team were extremely professional, knowledgable of the market (especially the Wynyard area) and kept us updated on an regular basis.
What we found invaluable was the feedback they sought, and passed on to us, from potential purchases after each viewing.
In just over 2 weeks from our property being advertised we had received an acceptable offer and our house was SOLD!!!
We could not fault Colleen and her team for their support, advice and ultimately helping us sell our house.

Moving house is so stressful but these guys really help you anyway that they can. Debbie, Colleen, Lisa, Michelle and Alex are always there to help, I would recommend them highly. I never felt like I was been a pain when I rang or called in for an update. They even have there own solicitors (home property lawyers) Rachel and Lizzie extremely helpful too!! If I moved house in the future I’ll definitely choose manners and Harrison without a doubt.

Alex Ohagan in this branch is the star . He has been dealing with my purchases for years already and yes, every time done and dusted smoothly. Highly recommended. He is very good at helping us with BTL mortgage applications even my income is below £20k. He can find good BTL mortgage for me all these times. He provides very good after sales advices and follow ups too e.g. Renewals time. Because I have so many mortgages, I cannot even remember which is which . But hey! I have Alex , who will remember and sort them out for me. I can just relax and concentrate on my own business. Thanks Alex. Plus I can have a referral bonus too if I successfully refer someone to them ;) so, if you are going to use Alex for your next mortgage, remember to quote my name KALAU, and I will share my £100 referral bonus with you too.
