Having recently sold a property through the Windermere office I can highly recommend the team. Jack Irwin placed the property on the market and Nicola Clark did an excellent job managing both sets of solicitors and keeping me informed of and progress…or lack of.
The lawyers were prone to “radio silence” however Nicola was aware of any blockages.
Nicola was always calm and accurate which enabled me to work better with my solicitor in keeping them focused.
I’ve sold a number of properties in recent years and this was by far the smoothest experience.

Exceptional service from first contact to completion. Communication with Nicola, Jack and Jenna was outstanding. Living outside the UK, in a different time zone was not a problem, their quick email responses, efficiency and help with additional requests made the whole process stress free.

They were representing the people from whom we were buying (vendors), and kept us informed every step of the way. Getting our house to 'sale agreed' took quite a long time. There were times during this phase when we'd have appreciated a bit more proactive communication from Matthews Benjamin but in truth the delay was largely attributable to the conditions of the local housing market.
Once we had 'sale agreed' however communication from the office was exactly what we needed, thanks to Nicola (who was great) we were kept fully up-to-date with the sale process.
