After trying to sell our property with 2 other agents and not great experiences, I had started to give up on the idea of moving at all. I did my research properly this time, and decided to try Michael's as a last resort. The experience with them was completely different. Patrick came to see us and did our valuation. He had done his research of our home thoroughly and had all the paperwork. He was confident that it would sell. I was skeptical. However, after putting it on the market with amazing marketing on the Friday, we had an offer by the following Wednesday and accepted it on Thursday. We are over the moon. In fairness Michaels sold my last property about 5 years ago, but after trying a local estate agent which asked me to lower the price and just sent around time wasters, I tried them again. Patrick guided me through the whole process and went to the effort of setting up a floor plan and including my EPC Report that the last estate agent did not despite me having to pay out for it separately. On the first day I had 2 viewings which sounded reasonable. I then received a phone call on the 4th day where one of the buyers put in a pretty low offer. Patrick managed to get them up to at least what I was asking and now we are sold. I'm now getting my boyfriend to use Michaels to sell his property in Colchester. Totally recommend.... Read more
