We had such a fantastic experience with Oakfield from start to finish, and especially with Casey. She was absolutely amazing – professional, efficient, and incredibly quick at responding to every question we had. No matter what we asked, she explained everything clearly and got back to us straight away, which made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free.
She went out of her way to arrange viewings at times that suited us and gave us plenty of time to properly look around without feeling rushed. She was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely supportive throughout.

Oakfield has such a great team! I had a really great experience with Kira who helped with our house search. She was supportive, professional, and genuinely attentive to our needs as a family. Even when our first option didn’t end up being possible, she didn’t leave us stuck, she suggested another property, arranged the viewing, and it turned out to be a perfect fit.
Kira really took the time to understand what we were looking for, listened carefully to our questions, and was quick to reassure us whenever we had concerns. Her communication was clear and timely throughout, which made the whole process far less stressful.

Hands down worst estate agent in Sussex been renting for 5+yrs and had oakfield past 2 properties both of them have had a leaking shower and there I’ve left my first property for this issue. Oakfield assured me my 2nd property was fine and everything had been repaired during the renovation. 2 weeks in the shower is waking exactly the same as the property I’ve tried to escape. Absolutely terrible company stealing money from people, putting them in properties you don’t even check. What a joke of a company

I’ve chosen to edit this review with Oakfield Bexhill. The previous review I left was slightly premature, as I left it before the end of my experience with them. This isn’t bad feedback as such, rather just average, as all they did in my opinion was their job. I was shown around a property, (which is what is expected from a letting agent) and then asked to leave a review to help push them higher in the google rankings. Which I have done. The service is average as I said. It’s all tactics to get one up on the competition, which is understandable, but what ever happened to good old fashioned customer service?! Unfortunately the world we live in now, everyone is concentrating more on promoting their company rather than actually providing a good level of service. Actually it was a small independent estate agent called Harper’s in Bexhill who started this google review process, then every other agent seemed to jump on the bandwagon.
In my opinion, good customer service, good support and a good outcome warrants good feedback. It was unfortunate for me that because of personal circumstances the landlord wasn’t keen on me moving into the property. That’s fine because I have found another property elsewhere which is so much nicer. I guess it all works out well in the end! As I said, nothing bad about Oakfield… but nothing good either. Just another Estate agent along with the many others in the small town of Bexhill-on-Sea trying to step on each other to get to the top.

The agent, Emma Jones, who showed us the property in Bexhill on Sea, was fantastic and certainly had to go the extra mile and day, to show us the property.
Through no fault of Emma's, the vendor failed to leave the correct key in the key safe ahead of the viewing, however, Emma was undeterred and explored every possibility she could, including climbing through a packed garage to access the door leading to the house, to no avail, however, as we had travelled a long way
Emma very kindly came back on her day off the following day to meet us once the vendor had left the correct key out and show us around the property. Great effort and our thanks to Emma.

After being served an eviction notice during the pandemic we were anxious to buy, however the state of the market was extremely difficult with prices rocketing and properties going extremely quickly. However Tony from Oakfield particularly, helped and eased this process with his patience and understanding nature, he showed us around multiple properties always being informative and responsive to our many questions. We came to England from Portugal for 3 days in May 2018 as we decided to move to England. We had already made a few appointments for house visits, but none of them appealed to us. Me and my partner have been looking at moving for over a year due to the fact of being in a very small property and with children it wasn’t practical. We first met Lucy White last year in June/July time to help us find a property, me and my partner took 6 months away from trying to move to sort ourselves out, we went back in to see Lucy a few weeks ago as my first daughter is nearly 1 years old and I am 35 weeks pregnant to this day and moving was at the top of our agenda due to being in a 1 bedroom flat. Lucy is so kind and very easy to talk to we felt like we could be completely honest about anything with her and she would be understanding and honest back with us. With my house purchase the man helping with the purchase quit, neglected to pass on any information and we had to start all over again after a month of working towards it. Once again it was me that called them.

The entire team at Oakfield Bexhill have supported us brilliantly throughout our time letting our flat.
We chose the 'full' management package, which meant they handled rent collection, property inspections and maintenance etc. They expertly guided us through any changes to property legislation and provided 'best practice' advice.
Once we decided to sell, they valued it promptly for us and I have no doubt that if we'd needed their Estate Agency services (our tenants were our purchasers) they would've provided the same high standard of care that we received as landlords.
The entire Bexhill team are friendly and professional and there is always someone in the office to help.

Excellent when first renting but that is all! Property was damp and mouldy, boiler didn't work right (which was only sorted after environmental health inspected property). Awful, really wouldn't recommend this letting agent at all! Since leaving oakfield we have dealt with 2 more agents who have been absolutely fantastic and are always there to sort things out if need be. Would never use oakfield again.

i would highly recommend using oakfield, as the staff are knowledgable polite and helpful and are very quick to respond to any queries or problems. I rented through oakfield back in 2014 and had a positive experience then, any problems I had including matenance issues were sorted quickly and I recieved all my deposit back to the penny when I left the property which can be unheard off when renting! After recently going through oakfield again, I have no doubts that I will have the same experience. Throughout the renting process I was speaking with Lucy, Lucy was very patient and clear when explaining all the steps and process and was very fast at getting back to me with any questions, she is an asset of the oakfield team for Bexhill! Overall oakfield have been the only estate agents I have had a positive view about in comparison to other local estate agents.

Although the staff may be helpful when letting out properties that is where it ends!!!! Im sorry to say that members of staff have very little knowledge and give very wrong advice that can lead to you having to move!!!! Do not expect your deposit back without a fight as they withhold it even though the property was left immaculate i would not use this company again and i certainly would not recomend them discusting treatment.

A crackhead broke into my flat and slept outside my door. Oakfields did nothing. Then a crackhead died outside my front door so I asked to leave. Oakfields did everything in their power to prevent me from leaving as they knew it would be difficult to rerent with a crackden in the building. After 6 months of hell I left but even on the last day Oakfields tried to get more money out of me by saying my contract expired 1 day before it actually did. Avoid like the plague!

I was extremely happy that I made the right decision to use Oakfield to buy our property at 65 Dorset Road Bexhill-On-Sea TN40 1SQ and highly recommend Richard Snatt Chloe Fox and Charlotte Wilkinson the agents i worked with.
From start to finish they were speedy efficient constantly available and always cheerful helping us with lots of questions and contacting the previous owner to sort out details.

Oakfield Bexhill is a crisp and bright property agency. I have had help with buying, selling and letting since the branch opened. I will continue to go to them for help. Enthusiasm and constructive solutions are what is on offer here. And the staff have even become as much friends as simply professional agents. So of course I want to recommend them!

I took my time when deciding which Agents should manage the letting of my property, a decision made far easier due to Oakfield's professional and friendly service. Charlotte Wilkinson managed the process throughout and instilled absolute confidence. Fantastic and prompt response to all of my (many) queries which were immediately addressed. I highly recommended.

Chloe and Charlotte are an absolute pleasure to deal with, very helpful, professional and really put you at ease. We had a seemless transition feom our old to new tenants, which ensured no breaks.
If you want to let a property out Oakfield would be ideal as they take away all the concerns you may have in managing a property.
5 stars all round, can't fault them at all.

Have used this company for the past two years to find tenants and manage our property in Bexhill. They keep me up dated on the property, discuss any issues that the tenant may have and promptly deal with maintenance as it arises. They always return my calls and are friendly and helpful. I would recommend them.

Oakfield's have provided a very good service to me, in terms of showing me flats (Lee Fox) appropriate to my requirements and budget when I was first looking, and in ongoing communication regarding negotiations about extending the lease. Their online maintenance reporting function is brilliant - it's very easy to report issues, and the actual work has been carried out efficiently by friendly people.

If you want to sell or buy a property look no further than Oakfield.
Last week, via Rightmove, Primelocation or directly, I messaged FOUR primary estate agents in Bexhill with details about the type of property I was interested in finding. One of the messages also included a request to view a particular property - unfortunately, this message was NOT sent to Oakfield.
However, within moments of sending my message to Oakfield, Richard Snatt - the Sales Manager, had emailed me with the particulars of several properties that fitted my requirements. Yesterday, Richard sent on details about a new listing. Sadly, none of the properties are ideal.
Why was it 'unfortunate' that my viewing request was NOT sent to Oakfield? Why is it 'sad' that the properties they are presently marketing don't quite hit my mark? Simply because they are the only agency to have responded thus far!!! And, just as relevantly, Richard responded extremely promptly and accurately to my request ... as well, he remembered me when a new property came on the market the following week that fitted my somewhat 'loose' guidelines.
So, if you want an agent to sell your property in Bexhill go with Oakfield, or wherever Richard Snatt is working. Likewise, if you're wanting to buy somewhere in the region contact Richard, I'm sure you too will receive a truly impeccable service.
