I requested a property valuation from Oakfield Estate agents via their website on a Sunday evening and was contacted by Georgia first thing the following morning to take some details and arrange a visit. Karen Fogarty visited our home a few days later, she had clearly done a lot of research ahead of the visit and gave a comprehensive explanation of her valuation. She had several other example properties that Oakfield had recently sold in the local area (detailed on a large tablet) and left us in no doubt at all that her valuation was fair and accurate. We have since decided that it isn’t quite the right time to move, but when the time does come – we will definitely be reapproaching Oakfield. I would thoroughly recommend their services! :)

We would (and we have) totally recommended Oakfield. As we hadn't sold a house for many years we were very impressed with the service that Oakfield supplied. When Karen came to first see us, she explained how the house would be marketed, and what would happen every step of the way through until completion. She is obviously very knowledgable and knows the housing market well.
Georgia showed the potential buyers around, and our neighbours even complemented on the way she greeted each buyer. She passed on any comments as soon as she could to us.
When we had accepted an offer, Jo took us over and each week she would speak to us to keep us informed on how the selling process was coming along and she was in touch with the buyers so was able to pass on any enquiries either parties had.
All the members of staff in the Heathfield office were friendly, helpful and made a possible stressful process into an easy experience.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful Oakfield have been in helping me sell my property.
I have had a nightmare trying to sell my flat. Oakfield were my 3rd agents after a terrible experience with the first and the second just wasn't getting anywhere.
So to say I was apprehensive when Oakfield came into the scene is an understatement HOWEVER! They have been amazing start to finish, from booking viewings to giving feedback to answering my silly questions they have been brilliant.
In the later stages I have had lots of trouble with the conveyancing company (that's a whole other thing) but Jo has been just simply amazing helping me navigate them and getting answers we needed!
You cannot go wrong with Oakfield they truly do care and will work tirelessly to get your sale and help wherever and whenever they can.

We recently completed on a move where the sellers agent was Rowland Gorringe and we have not been at all impressed with their work. When we first shown round the property we bought, the agent couldn't answer any of our questions about information regarding the property, none of which were unreasonable things to ask. She truly could only name which room we were standing in, which we could have figured out for ourselves.
Throughout the process we found the sales progression to be lacking, when we called the agent would struggle to know who we were, we would be told they only called their clients once a week so wouldn't pass on requests til the following week and even then when we called a week later there would be no progress. We also were told things that were needed were done when they weren't.
While I appreciate we were not Rowland Gorringe's clients, if we were and they had treated our buyer this way I would have been less than impressed given how much estate agents charge to do apparently, very little.

Sold and Purchased through the Heathfileld team completing the end of August just 6 weeks after putting our property on the market. Joe made an extremely good first impression on our first meeting when he came to carry out the appraisal on our property as did Sarah when showing us round the property we ended up purchasing. Although a very quick and smooth process Joe was on the ball throughout making sure things continued to run smoothly liasing with buyers, solicitors, developer etc as was Sarah. They are also keen to make sure everything runs smoothly following completion with the developer as we settle in. I have dealt with several estate agents in Heathfield over the years, but would most definitely recommend Rowland Gorringe as the estate agents to use!!!

Rowland Gorringe have been absolutely amazing supporting us through our first house buying process, from the initial viewing of properties to being there if we need them even now we're in our new home. Our estate agent Joe has been incredible at offering advice and answering our questions at all times, there wasn't anything that seemed like too much trouble (even if we did call almost daily asking about something!). Joe made sure that process all went smoothly, happened really quickly and he communicated with the sellers & both solicitors throughout. We honestly couldn't thank Joe and his team enough for making our first house purchase this easy and reassuring us the entire way.

I purchased my first property with Rowland Gorringe and all I can say is I have never dealt with such a helpful and great bunch! Joe and Paul helped me every step of the way, explained everything to me, kept me in the loop and went above and beyond to help me.
They were always available at the end of the phone or email if I had any questions and went the extra mile helping me outside of hours when really they didn't have to.
I cannot express how good their service was and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property in the Heathfield area.

An absolute breath of fresh air in the property market, none of that production-line style sale processing common with the big chain agents, but no cloying insincerity either, just honest, straightforward good old fashioned service but with a twist: Paul and his team go the extra mile in every respect and nothing was too much trouble. They secured a buyer immediately for my property and didn't rest until the sale went through.
