If i could give them a 0 star i would. i have called twice and sent 5 emails. as i WAS interested in an office to rent at Monkhurst House, Heathfield. however they have ignored me fully! ill be writing a letter to the landlord of building saying clearly using them he/she is losing money as they are refusing to contact people back,

We rented our offices from Oldfield Smith & Co for a number of years. All my dealings with them have been very courteous and pleasant. No job or request is too small and they are very helpful and quick at responding to and resolving any building issues. We recently moved out and they were very accommodating. I would be very happy to have Oldfield Smith & Co as landlords again

Never purchased services from this company however a rather high value package had been wrongly delivered to their address.
Bernard Smith held the package for over two months until recently in the hopes someone would collect it. When this didn't happen he contacted our company Index Security and informed us of this and even offered to take the package to the original address free of charge.
You dont meet many good samaritans like him these days and judging by the way he conducted himself I would say this is a honest and trustworthy company.

Understated Commercial property agent based in Uckfield, East Sussex. Approachable, helpful and a fountain of knowledge within their team. This firm should not be overlooked, if you are seeking a commercial property to buy or lease - there service is excellent and they listen to what is needed. In an industry fraught with dishonesty and jargon; Oldfield Smith provided a straight forward decent service. Explaining in clear terms where other companies tried to baffle. I was most impressed with Bernie's willingness to provide honest advice off the clock. On top of this Bernie's is clearly top of his field when it comes to specialist knowledge. Oldfield Smith are different to your stereotypical letting agent. Not only are they well-organised and professional, but they take equal care of their landlords and tenants.
