While I am aware many people have had good success finding a new home through Pittis I can’t say the same, I was looking forward to moving in to a home finally only to have the dirty game played by Pittis Ryde.
I will start with anyone who is wanting to find a home through Pittis but has the unfortunate financial situation where the council will be helping to pay the rent alongside you paying it is unlikely the agreement will go through despite having your offer accepted and vetting process starting.
My partner, my 18 month old a I are trying to get out of our 1 room property which the council have kindly provided, my partner found a property on Castle Road. Having gone to a viewing and liking the property she made the offer for full amount, few days later she was contacted to say the landlord had accepted our offer and Pittis now wanted to proceed with the vetting stage. Having filled in the tenants offer which ask how rent would be paid this is when they in my knowledge were made aware of the fact the council would be helping with a portion of the rent. Details were sent to the council of the property we intended to rent, they were happy just want to know what the deposit amount was. My partner tried serval times to contact the Pittis Ryde to get this information being told she would get a call from the agent dealing with the property. After a week I believe of no contact my partner finally made a call again managing to talk to the agent dealing with the property who regretfully informed us that the landlord was now deciding to sell. Now here comes the dirty from Pittis and if it was not them they definitely know what was going on and allowed it so.
I some what disappointed and upset did a lot of research, having some what little knowledge of legal rights due to my career background a family member with law degree I found it interesting that a property which in my opinion had me let agreed was now just going to be sold end of. So I found our rights and told my partner that is our offer had been agreed by the landlord the property should have been removed from the market and no further offers could be accepted. What I found interesting was while I was doing research I was also searching for another property for us to move in to only to come across the very same property we had just been told was now going on the sale market to be on Zoopla as let agreed. I contacted my partner to ask if she had been contacted by Pittis and the agreement was being honoured after all, which she informed me that she had had no further contact from Pittis. A friend had also informed me that there was a letting sign outside the property. This was confusing as at the time of seeing the property and having offer accepted there had been no let sign.
My partner rang Pittis Ryde to enquire as to what was going on, to be inform by Pittis that the property had been sent to Pittis Newport to be put on the market however was sent back to Pittis Ryde when the landlord had decided they wanted to put it back on the rental market however as a winter let for 6 months, which would still have been fine with us. Being we had already made interest and be accepted why did they not contact us to continue the rental agreement process again.
Now here comes the opinions which I believe are back by facts, Pittis has given the landlord know of how to back out of the agreement he had changed his mind on despite having approved us and let agreed to us. They have used a loop hole which is frowned upon and another case for my solicitor.

I've been considering the possibility of moving and invited Pittis Ryde to provide me with a 'no-strings' valuation of my property. I originally put my house on the market in March 2021, and decided to market with Alastair at Pittis in Ryde. From the start Alastair was the most enthusiastic estate agent who valued my property. From the outset he communicated professionally with very clear jargon free advice, and continued to do so through the whole process.
I my opinion, the whole team in the Pittis office in Ryde followed on with similar professional, personal and enthusiastic service that Alastair had demonstrated from the word go. It wouldn’t be fair not to mention the others in the team who really demonstrated their professional attitude, in particular Joe and Shonaigh in branch and Kieran the sales progressor.
The only negative from the service received from Pittis was the inhouse conveyancing, in the end I had to use a 3rd party solicitor.
My onwards purchase was not stress free, Alastair and team remained calm and all offered clear advice on the best way forward. Alastair went above and beyond with his service and knowledge to ensure we could complete and make our move. He really earnt his commission cheque with the effort he put in.
I would not hesitate to recommend Alastair and his team to sell your house.

Alastairs' communication and people management skills towards the latter end of a drawn out and complicated purchase were excellent. In a role where poor communication can be exasperating, he went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed at all stages and knew exactly where we stood. We are both grateful to him, I’m not sure it would have completed in time without his intervention.

Purplebricks had always been our go to, due to the £995 cost, so when we had arranged Pittis to come round to value the house, i didn't think I would give much consideration to the 'sales pitch'. However, I was well and truly proven wrong! Not only was it like sitting down with your mate putting the world to rights... Shonaigh was friendly open, honest and very knowledgeable. Every Question and comment (mainly about their higher price charged) I made, Shonaigh took on the chin and came back with an informed answer....which by the end of the meeting I started to understand. The dedication that was put in by Shonaigh and the rest of the team from that point was second to none. There were days I called 8 or 9 times and every time i was greeted with a happy and helpful voice. The whole team go above and beyond and the communication is amazing. If you want to sell/purchase your house with as little hassle as possible and with support at every corner, then Pittis is for you. I had an offer accepted on my house within 7 days of them coming to value my property! I cannot recommend them enough.

Had to use Pittis as buying a property. Details were incorrect regarding age/health as this is a retirement property.
Branch Manager not very friendly/helpful. After Sales contact not very good either. Phone calls not returned, email replies sent instead. No-one seemed to appreciate I wanted this dealth with quickly but still took 5 1/2 months to complete on an empty property. Had issues with Pittis in the past and would not recommend them to anyone.

Dear Sirs I don't know the best way to send this message but please could you direct it. The treatment that I received at your Ryde branch was outstanding. I had a rather protracted purchase but was kept abreast of the situation as it developed. Whenever I telephoned I was greeted with a friendly and knowledgeable person. The whole team acted as one, If an individual did not know the information that I was requesting it was speedily looked up and passed on to me. I am particularly interested in sales and the techniques involved. May I assure you that your Ryde team are as close to perfection as you can get. Their dress style, personal appearance, cleanliness of office, friendly and helpful service. All of these features are important before you even get down to business. This is the 2nd time I have used Pittis in Ryde. Alistair, Jo and the team are so helpful and I would be more than happy to recommend them. They are very professional but so extremely approachable as well I can't fault them.

We came to pittis after struggling to sell our home with another agent, they managed to sell it within a day or two. We’ve dealt with Andrew, Joe and Alastair they’ve all been very accommodating and responsive. In a very chaotic market they have done their best to help us find our next home, it’s been a lengthy search with bumps in the road but they persevered and now there is light at the end of the tunnel. I’m sure we will contact them again in a few years when we are ready to start the property search again.
