My husband and I had rented from Property Bureau last year and met Lorna Donald and Yvonne Davies, the lovely ladies who are the faces of Property Bureau in Stirling. They were incredibly helpful and informative and went above and beyond with helping us yanks with local insights. This year they located and helped us buy our home in Stirling. They were extremely patient in explaining the buying process in Scotland which is very different from buying in the States. I was in a rush to sell my property when I contacted Mike and he was straight on the case. I had a surveyor out within the first couple of days with constant updates from Mike including a draft broacher. Mike was very helpful and informative when it came to setting a price from the property off of the back of the home report which took a massive pressure off. I then had the pleasure of dealing with Lorna to book and coordinate all of my viewings. She was clear and precise when I came to relaying all of the information with names/times etc. Never would I have thought selling my property would have been the least stressful part of moving but Mike and Lorna made the process seemless. 10/10 recommendation! Property Bureau have been excellent, every time I had an appliance breakdown, they sent someone over to get it repaired within 24-48 hours. Special mention goes to Lorna Donald, and Yvonne Davies from the Stirling branch, as they have been outstanding in their communications. I thoroughly recommend Property Bureau for anyone wanting to rent high quality properties, with high quality landlord/letting agency support, as they have very excellent operating standards, you can also be sure that they won't actively try to snatch your deposit at the end of your tenancy, like many landlords and letting agencies do!... My previous experience with renting had left me wary about letting agents but Yvonne from the Property Bureau in Stirling was such a breath of fresh air. Super helpful, professional, quick and kind. You could tell that she was genuinely looking for a win-win situation for tenant and landlord and usually found it. Leaving the rental property was also seamless - they expected it to be spotless (just as it was spotless when we moved in so I was happy with that) but were fair on wear and tear. DO NOT GO WITH THIS RENTAL COMPANY!!! from a tenants point of view they are a joke. Make up lies. Take weeks to respond. Don't answer calls. Leave you with fridge etc not working and don't respond. Honestly save your time, don't even rent just save your money and buy your own house. Horrible horrible people. Yvonne and Gavin in the stirling office are honestly just a joke don't get involved!!!!!!!! They discriminate against the younger generation & against the mentally ill. After letting my home to tenants that they got in for me for 2.5 yrs, everthing they asked for or needed replaced I done asap - I had left the property immaculate. Got email saying that the handover went well and to release the tenant deposit. This I agreed. I had a look over my property a week after they vacated to put on the market . What a surprise I got, 8 broken kitchen tiles .cooker swimming in grease, light bulbs broken and broken part left in , house smelling , shower blocked, garden trashed . I had to get professional cleaners, gardener to tidy up the mess they left and repaint everywhere. I had to scrub all slabs as completely cover in green/black mould, waste bins were disgusting. My impression at first that this was a fairly well run rental office in Stirling however after some experience Its was evident that there is no interest in supporting the tenant.Everything is geared to pleasing the landlord`s .No clue about inspections,how to properly maintain a property.Just fill the bank and please the landlord.There are far better more proffessional rental companies in th is area.Deal at your own risk to losing your depsoit...
