A special thank you to Jacqueline, who came to give us a valuation. From the moment she arrived, she made us feel completely at ease. The appointment was relaxed yet professional, and she took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. Her friendly approach, combined with her excellent knowledge of the local area and recently sold properties, gave us real confidence from the very start.
We also want to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to Jess. From putting our house on the market, through viewings, and right up to the sale, she has been absolutely amazing. Jess is incredibly knowledgeable and truly an expert in what she does, but what stood out most was how much she genuinely cared about us as a family — not just about making a sale. She took the time to understand what was important to us, gave honest and thoughtful advice, and supported us every step of the way, especially while we were buying the house we wanted. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication were second to none, and it’s so clear how hard she works alongside the team around her.
We would also like to mention Katie and Liz, who were always so friendly, warm, and understanding when it came to booking viewings and answering any questions we had. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their kindness and patience really made a difference.
We put our house up for sale on the Friday and had sold by the Tuesday. The team worked tirelessly to arrange lots of viewings and were always quick to respond to phone calls and WhatsApp messages — nothing was ever a bother. The Secure Move and Street apps were also a fantastic way to keep track of viewings, surveys, and communication, which made the whole process so much easier.
We cannot recommend Redbrik highly enough and will continue to recommend them to others.

A year ago I bought a house with Redbrik and i still think about how stressful it was! Worst experience buying a house with this company, they really ruined the process for me. Andrew S made my experience so difficult and he’s very rude and unprofessional. Me and my solicitor was shocked at the behaviour! If it’s your first time buying a house and you can avoid these then please do!

I am very disappointed with my experience when trying to purchase a property through Redbrik. The agent Ben dealing with the sale had a clear motive for a cash sale ie not ourselves; and possessed a clear lack of transparency throughout the process. Important information was either withheld or only shared after repeated follow-ups, which made it difficult to make informed decisions. Communication was inconsistent, and when questions were raised, responses were often vague or incomplete. This created unnecessary stress and undermined trust. I would expect a higher level of honesty and openness from a ‘professional service’ and unfortunately, this fell well below expectations. Would not recommend using Redbrik to any of our friends and family or wider network.

What can I say apart from how thankful I am that myself and my husband chose Redbrik to help us sell our property. They have been absolutely faultless. They keep properties up on apps etc such as rightmove, then when you apply for a viewing they respond with 'its undergoing applications' - so take it down then? We've been let down so many times because of this

I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism, dedication and efficiency which Ben Hall (Manager) has shown in the sale of my house. He provided regular updates, was proactive, customer-centred and recommended timely interventions to respond to the current market. The lines of communication between his team and I were exemplary. The whole team responded immediately to any requests and were friendly, professional and absolutely reliable.
The sale of my house had its challenges. Nevertheless, throughout the process Carmel showed dedication, determination and enthusiasm which successfully secured the sale. Her detailed and timely feedback enabled me to remain positive.
The whole selling process was facilitated efficiently by LIsa, whose communication skills and genuine desire to enable me to complete before Christmas was hugely appreciated.

Booked to view a property. Turned up to undertake the viewing two days after booking.
No one there. Called the office was told that someone was on the way. Then nothing. Called again and was then told the office had cancelled the viewing and I’d been emailed. When I explained I hadn’t left an email I was told aww sorry! Avoid this place what a joke!

Firstly the front line staff are brilliant and helpful.
Sales team that support you once your offer to accepted are not great, they work sporadic hours and it caused issues with trades men getting access to give quotes for repairs highlighted on the house survey.
They also use ‘Secure Move’ between me having an offer accepted and the surveyor visiting the property sustained considerable damage from a leak, the vendor refused to repair meaning I lost the £600 deposits when I pulled out.
They say the secure move is a reservation fee, basically if you purchase a property through them and wish to pull out be prepared to burn £600.

Ben and Jessica were great at keeping the purchase moving, and we really appreciated how on the ball they were.
The sales progressor was a bit harder to rely on – updates were patchy, and then they suddenly reappeared right at the end.
We also found out the searches we’d been promised through Secure-Move (paid around £600) weren’t up to date, so our solicitor had to do extra checks and chasing.
Still, credit to Ben and Jessica for doing what they could to keep things steady.

The sale of my property was set to be a rollercoaster due to the nature of the situation and foam loft insulation (nightmarish stuff!) but I couldn’t have wished for a better team supporting me throughout.
Lisa and the team have been far far more than Estate Agents- they have literally been a shoulder to cry on, a source of strength and the team to put a smile back on my face. It’s been incredibly emotional and to complete, thanks to this amazing team, has literally been life changing for me.

I am writing this review with regret and a heavy heart. Redbrik marketed my house for me and the buyer pulled out 2 weeks to completion. This put me in a difficult situation and I had to accept a part-exchange deal at a lower price. Redbrik now insisted that I must pay £600(in addition to the initial deposit that we paid) as a withdrawal fee with no empathy about my situation. Clauses were inserted in the contract to rob people even when things go wrong no matter whose fault. Redbrik policy needs to be audited because I was not willing to withdraw but everything would go wrong if we didn't accept a part-exchange. Preying on people’s difficulties is nothing short of evil. I am going to be warning everyone I know about Redbrik and will not touch Redbrik even with a long stick ever again. Its so sad that we don't have 0 star.

Overall a good experience with Redbrik. The staff and all contact I had was absolutely great. However, as much as I like the idea of the mandatory search package for buyers as it commits buyers to a certain degree to a purchase. I don't like how Redbrik are capitalising on an already very expensive and stressful time in life by charging double to what my solicitor would have charged me for this service. Most searches are optional also and it should be the right of any buyer to maintain this. The seller pays a lot to Redbrik for a property sale, they shouldn't then need to squeeze more money than is necessary out of a buyer when the buyer has no option and they know they will pay this excessive service because they have found their dream home. Please make the fees comparable to what a solicitor will charge and then I fully back the scheme.

We have just sold our house through Redbrik and I can honestly say we have received a service of the highest standard from Jess and her excellent Team.
Initially our property sold within days but we had many issues with our buyer, Redbrik went above and beyond to help resolve every issue that cropped up. Through absolutely no fault of Redbrik, we had to re-market our house, and they really pushed so hard to get the viewers, and again it sold within a few weeks.

I have deleted my review as I made a huge error in my judgement. I basically called Redbrik for providing inaccurate and misleading listing's. The house i was referring to was actually through W T Parker not Redbrik, so please accept my sincere apologies. I have now replaced my review with this one.
Now I have the right estate agents in my head I can confirm Redbrik are incredibly polite and conscientious. Only positive experiences!
However, I don't like how properties are listed as 4 bed or 3 bed when one of the rooms is a downstairs office next to the kitchen. I think this is across all estate agents though.
Really polite staff and great to speak to and work with :)

If I could give 0 stars I would. Most disgusting service I’ve seen provided. As tenants renting with them, nothing would get done until we had complained multiple times.
We mentioned our washing machine leaking along with our shower, and they eventually sent a plumber/handy man out to sort the shower a week or so later. We then mentioned the washer when he came to the house, and when he looked at it he said it had been superglued. We had been taking our washing to family’s to do so hadn’t noticed. So somebody had snuck into the property without our consent when we were out at work.
The only person who got things done for us was Kiren in the maintenance department- she was amazing! Couldn’t fault her.
We were under the care of Georgina who was late in her responses but at least she answered. Once she left the company we were forgotten about and ignored. When it came to the end of our tenancy, we gave our notice and wasn’t even acknowledged by anyone at Redbrik. UNTIL.. they wanted to do viewings whilst we still had our belongings in the property, but we agreed as we are civil and understand they wanted to fill our space ASAP.
Once we had moved out, we were told in the office that someone will be in touch about getting our deposit back. After hearing nothing, we emailed the lettings team. We heard nothing back after 2 weeks of emailing multiple times, just an automated response saying they would contact us back in 24-48 hours. After 3 weeks of being ignored I’d called the office, and was palmed off saying there were no “asset managers” in and they’d call me back. Nobody rang back. Days later I called again and got the same response. We left the property in better condition than we had received it, and they had instantly filled our spot with another tenant.
They were just reluctant to give our deposit back, and ignoring every email and call. Disgusting service, and when told over the phone, no apology given. Just excuses. Why have an automated response saying 24-48 hours response time when it wasn’t even 2-3 weeks without me having to pester them and block my number when I called so that they would answer.
Really do not recommend renting with Redbrik- I have discouraged the people I know from doing the same too. Far better companies out there!
UPDATE- it won’t let me reply to their response but for people out there reading this, please know this was NOT explained to us as stated by them below. And this was several weeks of chasing and at no point were we told it was due to “annual leave” which was a long time if so. They would just say there’s no asset managers in and that they’d return our call when there was, which would never happen. Truth is we weren’t designated another asset manager, when I asked who had taken over managing us when Georgina left nobody could answer over the phone and said they’d get somebody at least to get in touch. Which they didn’t. Redbrik just enjoy fobbing people off and looking good from the outside????

Buyer & sellers beware scammy secure move
Buyer & sellers beware! Redbrik operate a very shady Reservation fee scheme where they charge a "non-negotiable", "non-refundable" £595 for a search pack and the right to take the house of the market. Problems with this:
1. The searches will usually be outdated. If something has come up in the time gap the old searches do not cover, then the buyer will be in trouble. Redbrik says they will "sort" this out. However, I would not want to be stuck in some remediation process with them when things go wrong. Far better to get your own conveyancer to do the searches.
2. The reservation fee to take the house of the market is nothing but a money grabbing scam whereby they pocket £595 from the seller and £595 from the buyer while charging the seller their usual percentage.
3. The £595 reservation fee does not benefit the buyer and is intrinsically unfair. It does not really protect from gazumping, as the seller can still accept a higher offer (perhaps £5000-10,000) and just refund the £595.
4. Additionally, this money does not go towards the sale of the house and is a lot of money because searches that only cost around £200-250. Thus, I am struggling to understand or see the value in this fee.
5. As a seller if you use this scammy service, it is likely you will get far fewer offers because most buyers will not subscribe to this scheme because 99.9% of estate agents do not do such things.
I just made an offer of the asking price of a house ~£350K and though this secure move stuff was optional. Imagine my surprise when Redbrik was happy to scupper the deal even thought the seller was very interested in continuing!
Sellers who advertise with Redbrik do so at their own risk as they only negotiate for their own fees and do not look out for the seller. The company has an awful reputation and should honestly look at acting with more integrity rather than trying to con people out of money on spurious reasons.
Redbrik are cowboys! Save your time & get a proper estate agent!

We had really bad experience with Redbrik Chesterfield and their property manager Georgina. Although they initially agreed to an early tenancy termination, the landlord changed mind, resulting in an additional 2 months' rent and unexpected expenses. The checkout report was clean and I think that was the reason they didn't initially gave us the report. We had to ask them and had to visit the office to get the report. Despite meeting cleaning requirements and having a fair checkout report, the landlord, and the agency, demanded our full £900 deposit and an extra £100 for repairs. Lack of fairness in dealings prompted us to dispute with My Deposit. We submitted all the proofs and thankfully My Deposit gave most of our deposit back. This clearly proves how unfair Redbrik and the landlord treated us. Not only this but the agency required us to hire the professional cleaning team they recommended for their own financial gain. They doubted our own carpet cleaning efforts despite providing invoices and bank statements, causing significant mental and financial distress. The property manager refused to listen to our perspective and forced to hung up, assuming we were being rude.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Redbrik estate agent, Chesterfield. We have been renting a property in ListerClose and Georgina was our manager. They initially offered an early tenancy termination, but later reneged on the agreement, forcing us to pay additional 2 months rent and endure unjustified expenses. The landlord, backed by the agency, unfairly demanded our full deposit of £900 and an extra £100 for repairs despite our efforts to meet their cleaning requirements. The landlord insisted on repair costs despite a clean checkout report. This added to the unjust financial burden and highlighted the lack of fairness in their dealings. We had to raise the despute with My Deposit and waiting for the decision. Agency forced us to do multiple end of tenancy professional cleanings with the cleaning company they preferred. We did a professional carpet cleaning ourselves but they didn't believed it even after we provided invoices and bank statements. The property manager consistently sided with the landlord, causing us significant mental and financial distress. I strongly advise against choosing Redbrik for any property dealings.

My experience of Redbrik is a good one. All the people involved in my sale were professional, very responsive and pro-active. Jake was very good at obtaining a price acceptable to me. As I live 3 hours away I appreciated the help in doing the insurance checks required. The process from accepting an offer went pretty smoothly. I've given 4 stars rather than 5 as I think the initial evaluation was too high, the sale happened at the same time as inflation increased rapidly so the original price had to drop, but my expectations were for a higher sale price.

I offered and had my offer accepted on a house through Redbricks.
I was asked to pay £595 and sign an exclusivity contract to tie me into the sale. I happily paid and signed to get the house.
I was told that from that point on “ Redbrick” would not allow further viewings or marketing. !
Little did I know that two weeks and two days later , I was informed that the property had a better offer !
I thought I had exclusivity !
I just got a refund of the money £595 . Which is still waiting to be credited back to my card.
Why pay the money !
Why offer me exclusivity and then with draw it.

As a Landlord I have found Redbrik Estate Agents to be a great help.
Nowadays the law often seems to be on the side of the tenant but Redbrik offer much help and guidance for the landlord also and I feel that my property is safe in their hands.
Georgina who manages my property is professional and friendly and a pleasure to correspond with, always replying to any questions or problems I have very quickly.
If you have a property to let Redbrik will help you find a suitable tenant and therefore a certain peace of mind about who is occupying it. This to me is worth a lot because it can save so much expense and disruption in the future.

We unfortunately didn't have a great experience of Redbrik as buyers. The most telling example was when we had an offer in on a property. The Agent rang me around 9am to let me know someone else had offered on it and would we increase our offer. As my husband was at work I said I would need to discuss with him and get back to her if that was ok. She said of course and that she would be there until 5pm for us to get back to her. At 3pm, on checking Zoopla, the property showed up as sold. When my husband rang to enquire what had happened as we had been given time to respond until the end of the day, he was told that someone would get back to him... and they never did.
Prior to this we had been involved in a Best and Finals on a Redbrik property which wasn't handled nicely at all. It came across that with the crazy housing market during the pandemic, Redbrik didn't feel the need to make any effort with buyers - they were probably great if you were selling though! It got to the point where we tried our best to avoid properties being sold by them, and thankfully the house we eventually purchased was with a different agent. Sorry for the poor review but really not a great experience for us.

Redbrik have brought me to completion of my house sale with professionalism, diplomacy, excellent communication, tenacity and whilst keeping the personal touch. It wasn’t smooth sailing…I doubt it is for anyone at the moment, with the volatility of the current property market….so you need people with the right skills, good communication and great experience in your corner. The specialist staff responsible for different aspects of the sale are crucial.
Redbrik provide this no question. They are leaders in their field.
I am certain that without them I would not have been as successful.
I personally found it very efficient to choose to have the link through them straight to Banner Jones. This certainly removes some of the issues re communication and speeds the process.

From the valuer, Jacqueline; the photographer, Josh; the negotiators Holly and Natalie and her cover Janet; the viewing agent, Rebecca, they all listened to our ideas and comments and were keen to work in partnership with us. They were always available and even the office based people who were answering the phones, had access to our details and seemed to have the latest information on our sale. Our key worker, Natalie was also proactive in keeping in touch with us and let us know if she was going to be on holiday and who would be our contact until she returned.
We wish we had put our house on the market with them from the beginning, as we received a very poor service from our first agent and the whole experience with them was very unpleasant. From starting our selling process all the way through to completion, the communication, advice and assistance has been nothing but exceptional. All the staff members are so approachable and their knowledge is a great help in keeping the process on track and moving smoothly.
We also used Redbrik to sell our last house 5 years ago and went back to them, based on our experiences last time; but as good as they were then, they’ve still managed to improve and keep ahead of the market with all the technology and selling tools that’s available to use in selling your property, together with a list of pricing options to help you decide what suits your budget, best.

We used Redbrik to sell our home and the experience couldn’t have been better from our valuation meeting with Emma to The photographer who came out to measure up and take photos right through to all the staff in the office. I’m pretty sure at some point everyone there was involved with booking in appointments, yet they all knew when we were available, when other viewings were booked in and when best to fit others in.
Within a week of going to market we had a number of offers and a sale was agreed within the first two weeks, again, everyone in the office seemed involved, all knew the right details about the property and handled it in a very friendly yet professional manner.
We would definitely use Redbrik again.

Redbrik have been fantastic from start to finish. We sold our property very quickly and achieved the asking price. The staff are very professional, nothing is to much trouble, you feel you are in safe hands with them. A big shout out to Liz Wheelhouse, a phone call every week from her, keeping us up to date. I had a really positive experience with the Redbrik Sales team recently. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t mirrored by the Lettings team. On the positive side, there were the usual professional photos and well-presented Rightmove adverts. They carried out all of the standard screening and credit checks, which was fine. However, I experienced a significant number of problems that were unsatisfactorily dealt with. In fact, it seems that it is their policy to basically ignore complaints presumably so that they do not have to admit liability! The problems included getting a satisfactory EPC (I had to hire my own EP assessor in the end), ensuring that the agent had an adequate sales pitch tailored to the house (in the end it was let to a couple who I showed round, instead of the agent), suspicious plumbing problems occurring, on two separate occasions, immediately following visits from their gas safety contractor (complaints were raised but inadequately escalated), and perhaps most importantly, poor standard of inspection during tenancy (damp, condensation and stuck window not reported across several inspections). Additional - I note the response below, that Redbrik had adequately addressed my queries. A quick scan through my email history will show that this is not the case, as I tried to highlight in them on a number of occasions: in particular the standard of inspections and the second, unauthorised visit from the gas safety inspector the following year. And some of the other issues were resolved but were a hassle and a less than satisfactory experience.

I chose Redbrik because I was impressed by their efficiency and professionalism right from the start of the process, when the house was valued. It was marketed with high quality photographs, information and a detailed plan of the house and garden.
All viewings were taken care of and an open weekend organised by Jessica was an excellent approach.

Tried to make an appointment to view a rental property with this agent I found them un helpful, then I had an appointment which they were meant to confirm which they didn’t do on the day of the appointment I didn’t know if it was happening or not a young man called at 10:15 for the appointment at 12:30 I told him I hadn’t heard from them so assumed the property had gone only to be told it’s not his fault that their email might be in my junk box !!!!! Extremely rude and ignorant response will never deal with this unprofessional and ignorant outfit . The junk box is where they belong.

Misold property failing to indicate that it was part exchanged and that the actual seller was the developer.
Made up a story about the current owner probably going to stop with family, and that the House could become imediatley vacant.
Placed an offer on this property through them which was declinned. Fair enough.
But never got back in contact with me to indicate that a 2nd party had placed an offer. Which was accepted!!

By far the best experience I have ever had with an estate agent from the start Ross the valuer showed a great interest in our house and we knew he and the team would look after us and all the way through the process Liz kept me bang up to date about what was happening.In this day and age of doing it yourself to save a few pounds then my advice is don’t I received a very good selling price and the process was not stressful at all thanks to Ross and Liz and all the Redbrik team. From valuation to completion, I was extremely impressed with the quality of service, from Redbrik and would highly recommend using the company.
Jessica Risorto provided me with the initial valuation and oozed confidence in the selling of my property. However, she didn't stop there. She became my wing-woman; always there for moral support and advice.
The photographer produced extremely high quality photographs and the sales brochure was of a brilliant standard. Looking at my property once online, it stood out against similar ones due to the photographs, which truly showcased the best of the property.
Chris acted as my sales negotiator and did a fantastic job. He was also always at the end of the phone, giving me updates and providing me with reassurance.
My property sold within thirteen days of hitting the market and I am convinced this is due to Redbrik. They are extremely personable, brilliantly encouraging and very hard working.

I used Redbrik on recommendation from a family member, who had bought and sold through them recently. I can honestly say I am 100% happy with everything they have done (not to mention they sold my house for the full asking price within 6 days of it going on the market). They are friendly and professional, from what I can tell they get valuations spot on, they are in contact with you throughout the whole process. They seem to be getting a great reputation locally, and trusted by buyers to have the asking prices correct - have a drive round and note how many Redbrik "for sale" boards have "sold" on them compared to others.
