There’s guys are absolute crooks. Under no circumstances make an offer on a house through them, unless you want to have fake bids put in front of you to drive up pricing. They are without any honour or honesty and will lie again and again to hide their behaviour at every level. I have never seen anything like it, after putting a bid in for a house I was looking to buy against a totally fictitious other buyer at £20,500 over the advertised and reduced price of £95,000 (see attached image - totally crazy price, they told me I needed to bid for over £115,000) asking price, they then tried to make me bid against myself adding another £1,500 to the highest price (£117,000) which was already mine…… disgusting at every level. Buy from anyone else or expect to go through the same experience. Even when I escalated this to the branch manager (Steve Purve) he didn’t apologise, he just added to the lies and that just demonstrates a ‘culture’ of the worst behaviour I have ever seen in an estate agency. If your buy through them, you have been warned. To anyone selling and to the owner of the house, I was happy to buy for ‘cash’ at a fair lower price, so choose someone else to sell through, because your sale will be screwed up by this crew.... The marketing team do a great job of showing casing properties, with their photography and social media skills…certainly eye catching with the aim of getting people interested in requesting viewings. HOWEVER it’s all downhill from there! Actually getting someone from the sales team to take a viewing is nay on impossible, and when you finally manage to book a viewing you are attending with 4-5 other people….and don’t expect any questions to be answered whilst you are at the viewing as I think they are only present to open the door!…The sales team are really inexperienced and have very poor customer service skills, communication is practically none existent with repeat chase up calls needed from your end. Quite honestly I don’t think I’d be interested in a property that was managed by Signature as I’d dread the experience.... Read more

Zero stars. I wrote my own sales brochure as they even struggled to do that. Incapable. They undervalued my property and did little to get buyer interest. I did my own viewings despite paying for agent viewings as no one was ever available. It cost me hours away from my own work and I did their job for them yet again. I found my own buyer so their total contribution was zilch. Signature then messed the sale up which didn't progress over five months and didn't manage my buyer in any way so I paid a withdrawal fee of £500 to remove it from their books. The following Monday I listed with a brilliant online agent and my new listing and photos went live. The same morning, Signature relisted my house for £25k less than my true, new listing just to cause trouble and cause integrity problems on my new sales attempt! I reported them to National Crime Agency as this is stealing personal information. We slapped a GDPR breach on the unprofessional time wasters. Zoopla and Rightmove helped me get Signatures new fake listing removed off www plus I was forced to arm-wrestle with Signatures 'MD' ro get the fake listing taken down off their own site. The 'MD' is a flashy clown and the 'team' are untrained novices. Leave well alone as they practice unethically and you'll only have problems and headaches. My new agent then showed me how it really should be done; six offers within the first four days and sold £35k over the 'offers over' price. Signature are worse than just a waste of time. Leave well alone if you want a successful sale via an honest estate agent to genuine buyers... Read more

Truly awful service. Constant lies. Completely inept staff. If you're selling, buying or letting a property please listen to the reviews and avoid. Every employee engaged performed like it was their first day and they're making it up as they go. You'll end up doing all of the work and suffering needless delays and costs as a result. Useless.... To echo other reviews on here, Signature were just appalling to deal with. Do not sell your hose with them. When singing up, we were initially told that all viewings would be done by a staff member from Signature. They then continued to tell us on multiple occasions that they had nobody available, leaving my aunt, a single mum, to do them by herself whilst trying to watch a 2 year old. After logging a complaint, Signature again promised that they would attend all viewings. Again, this didn't happen. It took months to receive an offer on our house. We had an initial flurry of viewings by buyers who clearly were not interested, and even these soon dried up. When we raised this to Signature, their only suggestion was to lower the price to well below market value. When we finally did sell our house, Signature broke GDPR by handing over our phone number to the buyers on moving day without our permission. Calling them on the phone was met with giggles and unprofessionalism. This company is run by kids, and it absolutely shows. Avoid at all costs!... Read more

Absolutely appalling estate agents. We were trying to buy a property which was on their books. During the course of our dealings with them, calls were never returned, they told lies, they were clearly too busy or could not be bothered to deal with us and they completely failed to keep their client informed. I have worked with many estate agents over my 30 year career as a property lawyer and I have never encountered such incompetence and rudeness. I could leave a litany of their failures, but suffice to say despite thinking I had found my dream property, I ended up pulling out. I would not even view a property now if it was on their books.... Possibly the most appalling service from any estate agents ever encountered and would most certainly not recommend.We chose Signature because they appeared highly professional and polished. This was certainly the case when they sent their show pony to value our property and do their sales spiel. However, upon signing with them relations went downhill rapidly due to various factors which I will highlight below.Despite being only a 20 minute drive from their nearest office, Signature failed to attend any viewings advising that they didn\'t have sufficient notice to conduct them. We were therefore left to conduct all viewings ourselves whilst both working full time. They later advised that accompanied viewings were complimentary.Their communication was poor with prospective buyers and when we tried to get through we were passed around different people. We never saw or heard from the initial person who came out ever again.When it came to negotiations, Signature disclosed sensitive financial information to prospective buyers which was ultimately detrimental to our sale and lost us money. To them it didn\'t matter but to us it impacted heavily and was a huge breach of trust. Despite formal complaints being made not a single apology or acknowledgment of this followed.When we agreed a sale (with no part played by Signature at all) we heard nothing from them throughout the entire sale process. I subsequently requested that our Solicitor send their fee directly to us to facilitate direct payment. Lo and behold, the company who had ignored contact the previous 3 months were quick off the mark to threaten legal action within 3 hours of completion if their fee remained unpaid.So, in summary, no I would not recommend. For the same service, you could save yourself thousands and simply print off a poster and sellotape it to the nearest bin.... Read more

Having discussed if we wanted to let or sell we agreed over the phone to let first. I was sent a contract whilst at work which I admit I did not read well as I assumed it was the correct one and signed it. The next thing Signature put a for sale sign at the property! After chasing them it was changed. They already had a tenant on their books do no hard work to complete checks and I was told this ladies name and some details. Thereafter I had to continually ring them for updates . The tenant moved in minus seeing the tenancy agreement which they signed on our behalf! When I rang on Friday before the tenant moved in I was told the lettings office was closed it was only 3.30 pm and therefore no one could give me information. I was promised a call on Saturday no one rang I had to ring them to be told no one was in lettings when I explained I was told I'd get a call I was put through to an agent. I explained I'd not seen the agreement or had an explanation when the bond would be paid. I was reassured by agent I would get these. Tenant moved in on Monday and still no agreement or bond spoke to same agent who was frankly quite rude on the phone. I contacted manager in lettings via email thereafter and complained about service to be told they thought their service was good enough. It's a shame lack of communication and customer care is lacking when you are only paying them £750 finders fee and not selling your property.... Read more

Horrendous experience with this agent! Property we booked to view, they didn\'t even advise it would be a block viewing so 4 other people were there when we viewed this, so you couldn\'t really ask any questions. Also the house itself was in a terrible state- cupboard were dirty, carpets had stains on them, cupboards not fully emptied. Just very surprising that the landlord would not do a thorough clean before viewings? Then because it was a bank holiday weekend when we had the viewing at 4 30pm, we were told we couldn\'t apply for the property until the following Tuesday. So I called the office Tuesday morning first thing, to be told that all offers were in and the landlord was not accepting any further ones. To which I said what I was told at the viewing that I could only apply on the Tuesday, so thought it was a bit unfair to be told this now, the agent then said, oh I didn\'t realise you had a viewing, then sent me the application form. I completed and sent it electronically straight away to then be told by someone else they hadn\'t received this. I said it had been sent to their generic email inbox so should be there then they found it. I had said that the experience of the agency so far wasn\'t that great, and because of this I think they didn\'t want to forward my details to the landlord to be honest. I then get a call advising the landlord isn\'t going ahead with my application. Seems very coincidental that they didn\'t after I gave honest feedback about them. Very poor experience with signature . They seemed surprised when I asked them to do the viewings on the property . What do you pay them for otherwise ?? Twice told them to move the ‘for sale’ sign because it was positioned where nobody would even see it ! Still didn’t move it ??????? God forbid you have to listen to an update from Michael as you can’t get a word in . You just have to sit and listen to him waffle on at 100mph for 5 minutes with excuses as to why they haven’t got the viewings they expected and his analogy of a ‘quiet market’ . If you’re selling a property under £200k , don’t use signature . They just aren’t interested in pushing it for you or infact , turning up to do the viewings .... Read more

More interested in selling cocktails as opposed to houses! Unsure what service I paid them for. We finally got the sale across the line on the second attempt no thanks to signature! Carried out viewings myself, had to chase all of my sales progression myself with signature usually being 2 steps behind. Staff were extremely unprofessional and often refused to take our calls or we were told we would be called back, which didn’t happen. I would echo other reviewers sentiments that staff were often rude or inappropriate in the way they spoke to customers. On completion day we heard nothing from signature until we rang them to be congratulated on exchanging contracts (this had happened 72hrs prior) and they were unable to give us any helpful information with regards to completion, yet again we were left chasing our buyers by ourselves! We were kept more up to date by our sellers estate agent than our own, avoid selling your property with them!... Read more

I wish there was an option to give no stars! Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with! Myself and partner purchased a property through these estate agents that has been going on since February. Alanis on the sales team is absolutely great and I couldn’t recommend her enough. As for the sales progression team, they could give a flying hoot what is going on. Staff are extremely rude when you question why things aren’t been chased ip especially Jasmine. Never in my life have I ever been spoken to as rudely as this woman has, if I did not live so far away from the branch I would’ve gone down and spoken to a manger in person as the level of customer care is horrendous. My partner asked to speak to a manager several times before I had to take over the call and eventually be put through. We had verbal agreements through these agents with the sellers of our house with a date which left myself, partner and our 6 month old baby homeless for a day as they did not chase or have any urgency to complete this sale. On the day we were meant to be completing my partner had to ring them for an update before they closed as we hadn’t had a call for hours and our solicitors were in the dark also. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you are thinking of purchasing a house with sellers who have chosen signature I’d think about looking at another house. WORST service I have ever received will NEVER deal with these again absolutely disgusting. The director of this company should be ashamed of half of the staff in there.... Read more

Agreed to sell my house because they told me my offer on my dream bungalow had been accepted by the vendor heard nothing else untill I got a call saying that signature had sold property to another buyer . Just be aware if your using this agent better still stay well clear... Read more
