The staff at Webbers work as a team and I have been extremely well informed, looked after and supported by everyone. I was selling my holiday home that I had run as a small business. This generated a lot of enquires and questions from prospective buyers. Each member of staff that were working on any given day over several months communicated effectively with me. They all shared information and conveyed information in a very competent and professional manner. They were personable, friendly and supported me in every way. The outstanding approach in their work was how they worked closely together, the notes on my file were maintained and up-to-date which made all the transactions and conversations with team members easy.

Really disappointed, errors made on the listing, only altered because I pointed them out. Advised of our intended completion date but not followed up with either myself or the buyers. Only realised we'd actually completed 6 days after when checking on progress. I actually told a member of staff on the phone 3 days before but could tell it was 'going over their head'
Complained about the service when I received the invoice stating I should be invoiced reflecting the work they actually did. Have been provided a timeline of events by the manager stating they did all they could.
Strongly disagree as I even introduced the buyer hoping for a pain-free sale. Webbers did nothing to facilitate the sale, did it all myself. Have spoken to the buyer who confirms they only spoke to them once . No follow up support from the moment of offer agreed.
Shockingly unprofessional service which, I would never recommend and have already advised a friend as such who has 3 properties to sell.
I will continue to share my views until my invoice is adjusted satisfactorily reflecting exactly what was done.
As the admin for the Penstowe Park owners group on both WhatsApp and Facebook groups owners approach me for opinion.
I'm not impressed and believe in honesty and integrity providing value for money. I've received none as of yet

Well all I can say is PLEASE read this, and YES I am a real person!
I can honestly say, that we have been through 7 months of the very worst experience, ever, during our house sale. I have bought 8 houses in 12 years and this simply exceeds them all.
Our buyers were rude, greedy and ill informed, and as for their solicitor, I am actually lost for words on such an incompetent, lazy, and unprofessional man.
HOWEVER, Webbers were FANTASTIC, they not only remained professional and courteous at all times, they helped hold us up when things got bad, and my goodness, this was such a rollercoaster.
The 'entire' team at Bude are some of the loveliest kindest, hard working and diligent people I have ever come across.
Every single member of their staff including Debbie who works at the weekend went above and beyond. She knew exactly what was going on at every stage, yet she only worked on a Sunday. The members of the team who weren't really part of our sale, also knew exactly what our situation was, at every point without fail. This was over 7 months!
Ann Marie, and May, who when they answer the phone, make you feel that you really count, that your call is personally important to them and with such a sunny disposition, it made the process so much nicer. Always true to their word when arranging a call back or delegating where they felt something needed urgent attention. They too were always fully 'in the know'.
The Manager, John Tape, is a true Gentleman, thoughtful and considerate, wise, patient and kind.
There were so many twists and turns involved in our chain, including a terminally ill child, and when the crushing reality of life and death rears its head, and you are faced with what really matters, what is 'really' important there was no doubt in my mind who 'John Tape the man,' really is.
John helped to steer this transaction with tenderness, professionalism and humour!
It is a fine line to walk, the path of business and generosity of spirit, but he walked it, each footstep carefully placed through the minefield of our sale. His quiet resolve and years of experience, I believe stopped our sale falling through,
I have to mention Damion, he became like a family friend, as we all absorbed the stress that these people put us all through. He was always cheerful, always kind, and such a hard working man, calling us way after hours because he said he would call back, so he did!!....how refreshing is that?! A conscientious diligent salesman!! A rare breed these days, yet Webbers seem to have only employed staff who fit that mould.
So if you want a mediocre estate agent, where you are a contract with a bit of cash at the end, go elsewhere. They will spin a yarn and tell you their photos are better or their shoes and watches say 'money,' that's ok.
But if you want a genuine, professional kind excellent team of staff , please try Webbers. I like to think that I am a straight talking experienced woman, with a long history of purchasing houses . I have come across many agents in my time, met many sales staff, all across the country, but I can absolutely guarantee that this branch of Webbers are superlative to any I have met before. Try them...you might be pleased that you read a real persons review after all.
