Still waiting for valuation? on my property.In writing nothing whatsoever pretty poor. I was told they are sending it by email this week to me. Still never received it. Typical estate agents.
Not very professional can do better, and should.
Not the first time i've had a problem with this estate, agent. One time some years ago they told me that my property was sold.This is sometimes ago, and no one had even been round to see the property quite amazing.
Then I neighbour heard anymore!

We found all the staff were fantastic, always friendly (but professional) helpful and knowledgeable. We put an offer on a property and the seller pulled out half way through, this seemed to motivate the whole branch and they all worked extra hard to help find us a new even better property and to get the complicated sale through. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend everyone at the branch, in particular Rob who has been amazing.

Dreadful experience!
Worked/dealt with agencies for renting, buying and/or selling nearly 20yr but never faced such bad service!
1. Single viewing arranged for 2 weeks!
2. Incompetent agent!
Wont mention names to avoid causing reputational damage...
* Disrespectful to clients(us)
* Disrespectful to our neighbours
* Arrogant
* Clearly lacking customer service skills
* Conflict of interests!
The agent evaluating our property was selling theirs at the same time

A bit shocking to say the least, made an enquiry about a flat, got a call the next day and was told that they will arrange a viewing. Next day called them and the woman handling the flat was out of the office so another lady on the phone told me she will email her and i will get a call that afternoon, no call. Same day monthly rent price was reduced and my enquiry is still being ignored. I did add in my message that i have an IVA , and i know it’s frowned upon by many lettings agencies , but at least have the decency to respond and say so, instead of flat out ignore people. Avoid this agency if you’re in a similar situation.

This branch is an epitome of poor service, dishonest when letting a property, deliberately withheld information that the house was on the market when it was leased and had me sign a 12-month contract and a month later then informed property was being sold.
No inspection of the home before you move into the place, it was in a terrible mess.
Sales agents have no respect for your home as they left house in a mess when doing viewings.
Rude manager on the phone zero customer care, shouts at you when you ask for clarification.
The customer complaints department is just an extension of the branch, does not take complaints seriously. The complaints manager was biased, regurgitation the same lies from the branch members who claimed there was a for sale sign when we did viewings which was not true and absolved the team of any wrongdoing and ended up blaming me.
The response from the manager speaks for itself the attitude towards clients in verbatim;
“Regardless of if the board was there or not, the property was on the sales market and viewings were conducted and the property which then sold. Unfortunately, in the rental market there are no guarantees if property is rented for either long or short term as circumstances can change.”

Having decided to sell my house in Corby, Northamptonshire, I made enquiries with several estate agents to try and find the most professional one, one who I knew would get me a buyer and the best price in a short time period. I chose William H. Brown of Corby. The reason for my choosing this company was the extremely professional way that the branch manager, James Jarvis, operates. He’s a great communicator and he doesn’t speak in estate agent jargon like some that I’d met. He told me exactly what he was going to do and throughout the whole process he did exactly that. I was even given a list of things that I needed to do to make my move so much easier. His updates were prompt and if he couldn’t reach me, because of my work situation, then he would delegate one of his team to do so. I was never unsure about anything during the whole process of selling my house. This is quite clearly a thoroughly professional, close knit team with a good manager directing them. When the time comes to move again I certainly hope that James Jarvis and his great team are heavily involved once more.
Thank you, James, for all your hard work and advice along the way. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with you and Team WHB.

An absolute disgrace of an estate agents. Myself and my partner where due to purchase a property through the W H Brown Corby branch. We put in an offer on the first week of September 2020. Our mortgage in principal had been accepted. We where waiting for details from the developers (Taylor Greeves- also horrendous, avoid at all costs). W H Brown in particular Tracey, was horrendous at any contact with us. We where left waiting for information for 9 weeks!! we where congradulated, told the property was ours as long as everything went ok. We called the estate agent nearly daily for updates. No one could give any updates. Our financial advisor finally managed to get through at the end of October 2020 and it turned out they had pulled the development from us without a valid reason. It took Tracey over 2 weeks after we already knew to contact us to inform of us the house was no longer ours. As first time buyers this was a horrendous experience. I will be informing all my friends and family and work colleagues in Corby to AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! There was no contact, very poor customer service handling. Just would not recommend at all. Does not even deserve a 1 star rating- 0 !!

Disrespectful people. Lack of communication between agents. I was booked for appointment today and I even called them to confirm few hours earlier. One agent confirmed that property is still available so I have travelled 30 miles to see it. After 15 minutes of waiting outside I called agency again and guess what they said... Property has been let already.. When? YESTERDAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS? They said "We left You a message.. Check Your voicemail" I have checked and there is no message from You. LIARS! Waste of time

Not only did she help negotiate with our buyer but also provided our mortgage after discussing all available options with me. If I was to move or buy and sell property again, I would use these guys again. Secondly, when it comes to mortgage renewal time I will return to Katrina.

Poor customer service. Rude over phone. Communication between agents doesn't exist, one says one thing, the other something completely opposite. Cancelling appointments at the last minute. Very disorganised when it comes to paperwork (will ask you for something, then after 2 months decide they want something different). The only thing they will try to sell you is their own mortgage advisor's services and trying to convince you it is almost impossible to buy a house without her. Would not recommend them at all!

Not to be trusted. Epitomises why the general public hold estate agents in such low esteem. Was trying to buy through them, offered full asking price but would only recommend us to their client if we met with their mortgage adviser. More interested in selling a mortgage than checking whether we had a solid chain behind us. Count your fingers after you have shaken their hand!
