STOLEN OUR RENT! DO NOT LET YOUR PROPERTY THROUGH THEM. I am a landlord with a few properties and they have stolen our last months rent following the end of our contract. They have advised on numerous occasions that they are sending the money but so far failed to do this. Having to take them to court to get our money that they have STOLEN. BEWARE!
As you can see from the attached we weren’t in breach of contract as the tenant put notice in within the contract terms.
YOUR MOVE advised that the money you unlawfully deducted would be repaid within 5-7 days on the 16th January and as of today 3rd February you still haven’t done this.

Terrible Experience with Your Move
I have never dealt with such poor service. Maranda, who called herself the store manager, was extremely unprofessional — no people skills, very abrupt, and never once apologised even when she was clearly in the wrong for giving us false information.
From the very start, it was nothing but lie after lie. When we first viewed the property, we specifically asked if it was a probate property and were told probate had already been granted, so not to worry. A month later, we found out it hadn’t even been started.
Three months in, she told us they still hadn’t begun. Then in the fourth month, she claimed everything was done and completed — only for my solicitor to confirm that probate still hadn’t even started! Completely unacceptable.
After six long months of being misled, we were finally told the house had been taken off the market altogether. Because of that, we lost our buyers and had to start the entire buying and selling process again.
As a manager, Maranda should take responsibility for her actions and the misinformation she repeatedly gave. I would never recommend Your Move after this experience.

Would be zero stars.
Disgusted with the rude customer service. Mason is very rude and obnoxious. A person like him should not be in a managerial position. Spoke rudely to my mother in law,withheld applications for properties & kept saying ‘emails have been sent’. We gave a few emails for the applications to be sent and non of them received. He tells us that everyone else has received an email with it.
I asked him to give manager details for a formal complaint and he tells me to send the email to him. Ofcourse, I’m going to send an email of complaint to the person I’m complaining about. He did make me chuckle.
He then tries to avoid every avenue to give me a email address, and says he’s the manager. Like yes mason, of course you’re the owner of YOUR MOVE and there is no one above you to make a complaint too, whilst your sat at the office in Chapletown!
Disgusted by the service. Your move really does need to consider their manager positions for letting.

Did not do end tendency check on previous tenant. Rented a house via Video viewing (normal). But the state the house was on the day the keys were given was poor.
Have not helped to resolve the situation.
Since renting, a free two years, the new staff are much more helpful. Review changed from 1* to 4*

Jakob and Bethany were great in keeping me updated on the properties that were coming onto market and they coordinated the bidding process really well. I found that they were really good communicators and always got the sense that they were trying to help and provide solutions.
Gemma was instrumental in the final stages of the purchase as we neared completion. My purchase was part of a chain which at one point was a bit of a challenge, but Gemma’s understanding and ability to work with everyone involved in a timely manner was the difference. (Thank you Gemma!)

Had a viewing booked for today at 11am which has been booked in since last Saturday. We expressed that we were really interested in the property and on Thursday 18th July noticed it was no longer online. We did not receive a phone call advising that the property had been taken and had to call the office this morning to confirm ourselves. Not very good customer service as if we hadn't noticed I'm sure we would have wasted our time attending the viewing for no one to turn up.

I initially put my property up for sale (great service around this inc the mortgage advisor in store), but decided rental was a better option for me. Everything was explained perfectly in the initial consultation and my property was up on the lettings market within a couple of hours. Within 5 days Charlotte had secured a tenant and since then communication has been fantastic throughout the process. We saw a property, got the mortgage through their mortgage advisor who got us a mortgage sorted straight away and we moved in, within 12 weeks. We went with their solicitors Taylor Emmet who were very quick and easy to contact. Perhaps a little more expensive than some but I can say they were very good.
We didn’t have a property to sell so can’t comment on the selling aspect, but Vicky helped us get the property we wanted knowing that we had limited options with a low budget and a very particular location in mind. Thank you rightmove for helping us.

After a not so great experience with Pinks estate agent YourMove came and saved the day. Albeit, they're more costly but the service you receive shows why. It's right, you get what you pay for in my instance and experience with the sale of my home. There are many estate agents badgering you and trying to make theirselves sound the most attractive but I am glad I chose YourMove despite the sale being more costly.
The girls Stefanie, Sophie & Vickie kept regular contact with me regarding the sale of my home etc and actually genuine people.
Steve the mortgage advisor is also lovely and provides helpful information.

I can't thank Your Move in Chapeltown enough for all of their help during our recent house purchase. Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful from start to finish! Never missed a call, never missed an email (and I sent a lot of those, sorry!...)
We were kept up to date on, almost a daily basis throughout the process, they were always happy to chase the relevant people for the answers to any questions we had, and always came back with the answers. Equally they didn't hesitate to contact us if they needed an answer, meaning the process kept moving forward.
And despite parts of our purchase taking longer than expected, (not Your Move's fault) They were always happy to assist and made the experience buying our first home a happy one.
