I engaged Michelle early in the process of procuring my BTL property. She viewed it with me and provided very helpful advice regarding expected timescales, market information and general guidance around any improvements that could be done to the property to enhance marketability. I collected the keys on 23rd September and the property was let on 24th October, in my opinion super fast and at a much higher rate than expected! Had the misfortune of dealing with Peter whilst trying to find a mortgage. I was told repeatedly that I had a mark against my name for uncleared debt on something I had not paid off over £500. He obviously gave the wrong name/spelling because I sought help from a financial advisor and there was no such thing. Just a really stupid lazy guy to be honest. I would avoid this company for the stress and hassle they cause is horrendous.

We no longer live in Scotland so managing it would've been a hassle and following various issues that needed resolving following the departure of the tenant I can honestly say she never stops, she has been nothing short of amazing... She even put out the bins for us.

Jodi was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our first-time buying journey. My partner and I found the whole process overwhelming, but Jodi’s professionalism and kindness made it so much easier.
After a house viewing, we were really keen on the property and emailed Jodi to express how much we loved it and how lovely the owners were for showing us around last minute. Jodi went above and beyond by personally calling the owners on our behalf, reading my email to the owners, and as a result, they agreed to accept our offer and even cancelled other viewings! When Jodi called to share the great news, I was thrilled — her excitement for both us and the owners really showed how much she cared.
Compared to my brother’s recent experience, where communication was just an impersonal email when he got accepted.

We decided upon Your Move because of the professional and reassuring manner by which we were dealt with. The process from start to finish was seamless and we were impressed that our points of contact was limited to Lisa and Fiona, both of whom were always aware of our current situation. The flat was visited by Lisa and she was clear in her expectations in regards to a suitable tenant and this was reflected in the viewers. Absolute shambles of a letting agent.would not recommend to worst enemy.
Apart from the poor quality maintenance during my stay there and the disgusting length of time it took to get anyone out to fix a problem they also have massively contributed to the ongoing abuse and stress of myself due to their unwillingness to show empathy or care to support in any way.
I fled my rented property due to domestic abuse, I begged the letting agency to remove my name from the property and explained the reasons I left for mine and my daughter's safety...they refused. The branch manager that I dealt with Lisa actually told me to my face that when my ex partner was evicted the arrears would be gone and they wouldn't chase me for it, when I asked for this in writing she declined to give it and then flat out denied saying it. I was taken to court and chased for £6000 of arrears that were ALL built up from the month after I left the property.
Yourmoves lawyer stated in their case that "I knew the correct procedure to follow to take my name off of the lease and I should have done that"... When in fact they knew I was unable to get my ex to agree to terminating our joint tenancy. They used this to their advantage.
Now one year after I have left and not had any access to the property I have been given 14 days to pay arrears that are not mine.
Although yourmove has laws they need to follow , I have since found out there were loopholes they could have told me about to help in my dier situation which they didn't.
They have also continued chasing monthly despite me not living at the address anymore causing a great deal of stress and anxiety.
I will hopefully never have to deal with the company again.

Sent an email and left a voicemail with the goal to purchase a property through Your Move Estate agents in Falkirk for cash.
Received a call back the next morning from a lady who at first did not want to identify herself, after repeatedly asking her name she at first responded with "I am from Your Move Estate Agents" then on the 3rd or 4th time reluctantly told me her name was Jodi.
Was completely condescending from the first sentence.
Was very uncomfortable call where she demanded answers to quite sensitive questions and seemed to somehow combine a haughty/posh and really uneducated manner all at the same time.
I knew the building for sale quite well as I live a few doors down from it and had instructed my solicitor to make an offer.
Jodi insisted that was "Not how it was done" and that I must view it first and refused to listen to my plea to just make an offer while still demanding answers to sensitive questions.
She then accused me of having a "tone" with her, which to be fair at that point in the conversation was probably true.
Had had enough of her nonsense and told her did not want to do business with her and instead of passing me to someone else the phone was disconnected.
Didn't even bother to ask the amount of my offer which would have been £10 000 over asking.

Rubbish experience as potential buyer when trying to arrange a viewing for Barlandfaulds Street in Kilsyth. No reply to various emails and when lucky enough to get through on the phone advised only one time mid day for viewings as that’s when they are “going anayway” advised they don’t offer weekend viewings.

We recently sold our property through Your Move Falkirk and would highly recommend them. The team are professional, competent and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
After obtaining evaluations from three estate agents, we opted to go with Your Move based on their overall package, cost and service provided. The initial evaluation was conducted by Jodi Lamond who was professional and very knowledgeable of the housing market. Jodi took the time to answer the lengthy list of questions which we had prepared.
After agreeing to sell our house through Your Move, everything happened very quickly – photographs, video and marketed within a week. After the first day of viewing, we accepted an offer well above the home report valuation.

Our only negative experience, was through one of the recommended solicitors. They were very slow to act and delayed missives being signed, meaning things happened very late on moving day. However, the staff at Your Move Falkirk worked to help resolve the situation and move things along.

I have been looking to rent a property since returning to Scotland after many years abroad. I have my own feelings about estate agents and usually they are not very good. I contacted a few estate agents on my return and found them to be a mixed bag. I popped into your move in Falkirk even though I am not looking in that are. I am sorry I was given a couple of names but didn't take them down which was my own fault but please accept my apologies for that. The first girl I spoke to was heavily pregnant, she was lovely made me feel welcome and I felt that she gave me all her attention while I was there even though I did say I was just looking for some advice. There was a girl called Gillian she was one of the managers, she gave me fantastic advice about renting and things that have changed in Scotland since I have been away. What made this service extra special was that both these girls cleary understood that they were not getting a sale from me but were both still very willing to help. Appalling service and non-existent communication with regards to letting my property on two separate occasions this year. Following many successful and non-eventful years working with the Linlithgow branch, upon its closure earlier this year, I was advised Falkirk would take-over the management of my rental property. I have found them to be unprofessional and very difficult to deal with. Emails are not replied to and 'phonecalls are frequently not returned, above all by the Lettings Manager, Gillian Law. As a client, it was left to me to be proactive and to keep on top of things, and doing so from overseas was frustrating and begged me to ask the question, why pay a fee for a non-existent service? I gave them the benefit of the doubt on more than one occasion but ended up wasting time and energy in the hope they would smarten up their act. On a technical point, I also required to correct their legal team with regards to interpretation of their own lease and the legislation that indicates the end of a tenancy - they would have had it end two days early, which was not the case and would have had me lose 2 days rent. Only upon indicating I would no longer proceed with their service did this trigger the Lettings Manager, Gillian, to contact me, after a complete disregard to previous emails and messages I'd left. Very disappointing. Since changing agents, I now pay half the fee, and have a much more professional and personal service. Having just sold my house, I must say that choosing Your Move to sell my house with, was definitely the best choice. They have made the process smooth, stress free and easy. Especially where I no longer live in the area, everything was done remotely. Your Move managed all of the paperwork, building the house brochure, taking photos, arranging and escorting the viewings, managing the offers. The solicitor they recommended has been first class. All the staff are friendly and most helpful where nothing is too much trouble.
I can't fault their amazing service and am so grateful for them making the whole process really simple and stress free. We'll worth every penny spent.

Were very slow to respond to our request for a quote to list our house and then when they found out we'd listed elsewhere the agent couldn't help himself with a disparaging comment about the property. Part and parcel with the house buying process i'm afraid and competition is extremely healthy so this kind of attitude isn't warranted.
I've not gone for 1 star as i dealt with them previously for the house purchase and the receptionist was pleasant.
