Jorgia Tye from Charters Chandlers Ford is simply the best estate agent we have ever met. We have viewed a lot of houses from various companies and dealt with a couple of estate agents and Jorgia has to be the best at coming prepared when we viewed houses with her. She seemed to have studied the houses we were viewing, told us the important informations that we needed to know, and if ever there were questions that she did not have answers to, she took notes of the questions so that she could find answers for us. It has been a great experience viewing houses with Jorgia. Thank you Jorgia. ??

I viewed a couple of properties with Michael and thought the service was very good, I felt comfortable and helped massively with any queries I had. Michael was also very good at helping and understanding issues that I had with my tenancy application.

This is about Jorgia Tye who has been actively trying to find my next perfect home. My own house is not for sale with Jorgia, but I registered with Charters to ensure I was seeing all potential properties on the market. Jorgia is relentless in understanding what I want, what I don't want and is very enthusiastic yet authentic in her style and approach. She would not show me properties unless she really felt they had enough positives, yet encouraged me to open my eyes to opportunities. She really takes the time to understand your needs with a fine mix of a personal & professional touch.

Lily has been exceptional throughout our search for a new home in Southampton. She has been incredibly helpful in securing our new property and guiding us through the reference checks. Although a recent change to my bank details caused some complications with the referencing company, requiring numerous phone calls, Lily handled the situation with utmost patience and professionalism. If I could give lower than a 1 star review I would. We had a very disappointing experience renting through Brand Vaughan.<br><br>At the viewing we specifically asked about mould and were told there were no issues. On moving in, we immediately found mould in kitchen cupboards, and later in both bathrooms and on an external kitchen wall. We were later told by a contractor working on the property that these issues were already known, which is extremely concerning but as the property had been repainted etc before we moved in the issue was temporarily unnoticable. It has since returned despite running dehumidifiers 24hours a day since we moved in.<br><br>The communication throughout the process was also poor, with unclear and inconsistent information, delays with contracts, and repeated difficulty getting straight answers at key stages of the move.<br><br>We were advised not to book removals due to contract delays, which ultimately caused unnecessary stress and a delayed move-in, despite rent already being paid.<br><br>I would advise future tenants to independently verify everything rather than relying on information provided during the letting process as the letting agent we dealt with seemed totally ill prepared and quite novice at his job.<br><br>**In response to the comment below from Charters even insinuating that it isn't a genuine review, it could unfortunately could not be a truer representation of the horrendous experience I had with them. I lodged a formal complaint via email already and the useless response I got just goes to show how little they care.<br><br>DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS!

Based on our experience, I would not use Charters again and would struggle to recommend them. If communication, proactive management and support throughout the whole process are important to you, I would think very carefully before choosing them.
