I made an enquiry relating to the recent successful sale of my (non UK resident) brother's apartment by MIles & Barr's Birchington Office. It was for Capital Gains Tax purposes, and I was anticipating a laborious process, as with most things these days. My call was taken by Tom, a Senior Branch Manager, who explained what he could do. Within a very short time, he emailed the information requested, in the format required. I was very pleased with this rapid and efficient response for what was a 'non mainstream' question on a very hot August day. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting & dealing with Bobby (Mahon) from the Herne Bay branch. He first showed us round a property which wasn't quite right for us but then suggested another, that hadn't made it to market at the time. He swiftly arranged a viewing that same afternoon & it turned out to be the one we're now proceeding with! I can't thank him enough for getting us to be the first & only viewers! We met for a revisit yesterday with Bobby at the property & he gave us all the time we needed to take everything in. He answered all our questions & if he didn't know the answers himself, he found out quickly from the vendor. He is polite, knowledgeable & everything you would want your estate agent to be.
