Amy Doig is an absolute credit to Oakheart. She is extremely knowledgeable and incredibly good at her job. She has been a life saver throughout this entire buying and selling process and would not want to go through this process again without an agent like her! She’s always there to pic up a call and give reassurance. The support and time she has given us has been amazing. Our exchange would not have happened when it did if she hadn’t been as driven as she is and got this across the line.
She honestly deserve a pay rise/ promotion and I would absolute recommend anyone to try and have her as their sales progressor.

We sold two homes through Oakheart to move into a property together.
We decided to go with them after viewing a property, as they were professional and answered all the questions we had as well as listening to why that house wasn't right for us (and actually turned up unlike other estate agents we had booked viewings with lol).
Marcus was great with coming to see us to value the properties and managed to get us viewings before they were even on Rightmove. Both sold in less than 9 days, which was crazy! Throughout the early stages of the selling process, he was great at staying in touch with us as was the office to confirm suitable times for viewings.
Once the sales were being progressed, Amy and Indie were also awesome. Amy was fast to respond to queries and kept us updated and was fab at pushing for completion, as well as being reassuring and proactive to prevent the chain from collapsing. Despite it being a complex split chain with some issues arising from my buyers having a few problems with things like surveys being requested last minute by their lenders, and poor communication from the estate agents we are buying from, they did a brill job at managing everything to meet our completion date.

Our journey to exchanging contracts was long and fraught with difficulty. Throughout this whole time, Oakheart kept us informed and up-to-date, and we felt that Amy really understood the issues and motivations behind them and gave some very solid and level-headed advice. She was constantly calm and always available at the end of the phone to provide reassurance and explain any issues. We also appreciated the very valuable advice provided by Josh at several decision points along the way. We have had contact with many (too many!) other Colchester-based estate agents and none of them came anywhere close to providing the high standard of personal customer service that Oakheart did. At every step of the journey from very first contact they were there providing well-reasoned and honest advice and excellent service. If you are thinking of selling your home I would highly recommend Oakheart for an honest, reliable, and excellent experience.

Thank you to the Oakheart Bury team for dealing with my recent house move. A special mention to Jason for initial communications, Stan for marketing my old house so brilliantly and negotiating both the sale and purchase, Georgina for doing the viewings, and especially to Annalise for expertly and tirelessly progressing the seven-strong chain to completion - she is amazing! I wouldn't hesitate to use Oakheart again in the future.

Oakhart Properties were amazing throughout the entire process. Andrew was thorough, approachable, and incredibly understanding, making everything feel clear and stress-free. Annalise was superb at chasing solicitors and really pushing things along to achieve a rapid move.
I honestly can’t fault them or the service they provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Oakhart Properties again and would 100% recommend them.

Edit: Thompson's, now Oakheart Property, appears to have had my review removed. In good faith I will not reiterate the whole issue, however I can assure everyone that this estate agent was completely unprofessional at the time of the pandemic, and was very unhelpful and inappropriate in behaviour towards a situation where there were clearly travel restrictions during the pandemic.

This is the only Estate Agents that i can genuinely say care about their clients as well as the landlords!
Our current landlord used Oakheart when we moved into his property and the guys were so helpful, (i did a review then as I was so impressed!).
We are now moving back to Surrey and our landlord has used Oakheart once again.
I have been liaising with Minty regarding viewings via email; she has been so friendly, kind and considerate especially with viewings around the busy Xmas period. She hasn't been demanding and has worked around our shift work schedule (Train Driver), when it comes to booking people to view the property.
It is so refreshing for existing tenants to be treated with kindness as well as possible new tenants and the landlords.
Thank you Minty and Oakheart!
