I recently purchased a property through Robinson Jackson Catford. While the day-to-day experience with the staff was largely positive, a serious issue regarding transparency occurred during the sales process, which is why I am leaving 3 stars instead of 5.<br><br>The property listing and brochure both clearly advertised "private parking." However, it transpired that the property did not have a legally recognized driveway or dropped kerb. When I questioned whether the seller would rectify this, my conveyancer received an email from the agency claiming the property "was never advertised as having private parking"—accompanied by an altered digital brochure to back up their claim, instead of a perfectly acceptable answer of "no".<br><br>At the exact moment this email was sent, the live online listing was still active displaying "private parking," and I held the original printed brochure in my hands.<br><br>For me, this deliberate attempt to alter the facts would normally warrant a 1-star review. However, I want to be fair to the rest of the branch team; the staff I dealt with directly were friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the rest of the purchase.
