They guided us through every step of the process with clarity and confidence, making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and well-managed. Their communication was excellent — we were kept informed at every stage, and no question ever felt too small. They clearly know the local market inside out and gave us fantastic advice that helped us achieve a great result in a short space of time. What really stood out was how personable and proactive the team were — they truly went above and beyond. 19th Apr 2022 (4 years ago)Could not recommend this landlord at all for a domestic rental. Negligent from the get go, reported smoke alarm several times but they didn’t care to fix it. Agent at the time of entry made a note of it and did nothing putting 2 adults and 4 children at risk. If I could give zeros stars I would have, avoid at all costs. Try to use scare lingering tactics to recoup deposits, fabricating pictures that again where present before we took on the proeprty

22nd Sep 2024 (1 year ago)We chose Gillespie Macandrew because we wanted the whole selling process (including the calculation of capital gains tax) to be under one roof. Gillespie Macandrew more than lived up to our expectations. The marketing, conveyancing and capital gains processes were all sequentially and logically implemented and there was always someone on hand to answer our questions. The stress involved in selling a property was greatly reduced, the sale went smoothly and efficiently, and we received a price well above the valuation.

Going forward with the house sale, Robert couldn't have been better, keeping me updated throughout the whole process, it was outstanding service and second to none. Thanks to the experience I received from Drummond Miller through Robert, I intend to use them again very soon when I sell my parents' house. Communication throughout the process was excellent and once we accepted the offer on our house the legal team at Thorntons were equally exceptional.
