I’m asking people to be take care of any details while dealing with this agency!<br><br>They don’t support you with maintenance and once you finish the contract make sure to call them because they don’t give any support or leads to take an advantage on the tenant and let him extend some days with fees!<br><br>I finished my fixed contract with them and 2 days before I depart from Exeter I called to see what shall I do and they told me no you have to extend one more month! I told them no one emailed me and helped me regarding this and they were like you must pay!<br><br>We gave back the apartment clean and tidy and left the keys inside the same day they were having viewing for another tenant and we left the keys inside with them and they left it and emailed us 7 days later that we must pay 310£ one week rent because we didn’t give the keys to the office!<br><br>Also the cleaning fee even though the apartment is super clean they charged us big amounts im sure 80% of it is considered profit as well as their poor performance in maintenance and helping tenants to live in a comfortable place.<br><br>If you are forced to deal with them just focus on your rights and the contract especially.

11th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)Wished to get some advice regarding land and principle property titles and was put in contact with Lucy Glanvill. Got generic advice and asked me to put it in writing, which I did. 1st email gets lost, follow up email I get the same generic response we discussed and my last email has gone unanswered. 3 months later I was none the wiser. I phoned Strutt & Parker's rural team and got a knowledgeable answer over the phone in 15mins. I've used Savills in Kent to sell a rural business and was impressed, but my first experience of the Exeter office is lacking and know where to go when the time comes!<br><br>Since posting this review I received a kind phone call apologising for this. I revised my rating from 2 to 4 stars as trying to put things right is rare these days than it used to be.

Allways there, always communicating, having a vast knowledge of the area, building a deep trusting relationship from the start. I can't thank her enough. 22nd Jan 2021 (5 years ago)Southgate originally acted as letting agents for our property - they are efficient, reliable and nothing was too much trouble. They have now acted as selling agents, this took a bit longer than anticipated but Southgate agents have kept us informed and been helpful during the whole process.

Throughout the whole process the Team at East of Exe, Jo, Tilly and Matt have supported us. Professional, knowledgeable,calm and efficient, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

24th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)I was impressed with Hunters several years ago when I was house hunting in Exeter. They stood out for being friendly and efficient (not pushy and annoying!) getting viewings booked in and following up. Since then I've chosen them to sell my house and recommended them to my daughter as well and they lived up to their reputation. I've recently purchased again through them! Big shout out to Darron and Anthony. They know what they are doing and they do it well.
4th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)We chose Savills because they appeared to be the most efficient and proactive company we approached to sell our home. Unfortunately once we’d signed up, they weren’t reliable and didn’t communicate with us regularly. Phone calls weren’t returned, our agent was never available when we rang. Feedback only given twice in 6 months. We have now taken our property off the market until next year.

The team kept us updated regularly and did a great job keeping everything moving and maintaining momentum, which made a big difference during the process. They were also very fair, supportive and enthusiastic about our onward purchase. We dealt with Tia quite a bit and she was great. She strikes a great balance between being friendly, approachable and professional, and always dealt with things quickly and efficiently. Communication was clear throughout and she was always happy to help or chase things when needed. We’d happily recommend both her and the team to others. Thank you.
