I believe it was one of the longest house sales they’ve had (not through any fault of theirs) yet they always remained positive and happy to host as many viewings as needed to get the home sold. Communication has been amazing and I can’t thank them enough. Would definitely use again!

The team are all so welcoming and so helpful ?????? thank you Beth and Charli for putting up with us and always letting us see the property when we asked

Although my purchase has fallen through due to unexpected works needed at the property, I felt supported throughout.

They were the only agents not to come across as pushy or 'salesly' during our initial meeting and their valuation was realistic and spot-on what we ended up selling for. Communication was great and their local market knowledge so impressive that they managed to find us a buyer prior to even listing our property.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)I recently had the pleasure of selling and buying through Sefftons and WOW. I had my house on the market with a larger agent who told me it would sell very quickly, and failed to sell it after months. Then Suzanne came round and gave me an honest valuation, and the property sold quickly to a serious buyer. Charlotte and Siobhan were great on viewings and always had the answers to my questions. Sefftons are a small team which makes the world of difference as I didn't just feel like a number to them. The ladies were always friendly and kept me updated throughout the entire process to make it as stress free as possible. I would recommend Sefftons to anyone.

We had to be there to do them ourselves 99% of the time. maybe they’re short staffed? but 1% of the overall sale price going to them for basically doing very little seems a bit steep. They did take the photographs, but we had to pay separately for that. They should actually have given us a fee reduction as we were doing all the viewings for them
