It’s lovely to speak to her when I am home and my cat is a big fan of her which says a lot about her character because my boy is not a lover of people usually! I leave cat treats out for Liberty to give to him when I’m not there and she always makes a fuss of him which is really nice and means a lot :)

It all went through within a couple of months and would probably not have happened without the skills of Annabel Fearnall and her colleagues at Barbers Rural. We made enquiries from several agencies including well-known nationally-recognised firms, but Barbers Rural was by far the best with their intimate knowledge of the locality. There was really no contest and the result of the sale is testimony to that. Also, theirs was by far the most reasonable cost. We have nothing but praise for and thanks to the firm for their professional standards and for the manner in which they prepared our house for the potential limited number of purchasers. We were always confident that Annabel was on top of the situation and was working in our best interests. We can thoroughly recommend Barbers Rural - we couldn't have done better.- 1st Oct 2026 (26 days ago)Landlords avoid this company. They are shambolic, a lack of transparent process and the left hand unable or unwilling to tell the right hand what’s happening. The type of company in our experience that give private landlords a bad name and make our job tougher than it already is in the current climate. Most certainly do not consider the deposit scheme with them.

19th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)Storeys met their claims of a quality service, pricing and following through the sales process. Marketing was superb attracting over 26 viewings and many offers.We got feeling that they were a close team from Ian's first visit through each team member to exchange. The property was unusual insofar that it had been in the family for over 100 years and was yet to be on the land registry. It was explained clearly to potential buyers by the team, presented no issues and resulted in quick offers. Storeys are not cheap but showed they can set the value correctly, market, sell quickly and keep on top of conveyancing surpassing poor service seen from a competitor. Dont just go for low fees its service that matters.

Any issues encountered were very quickly sorted by Trine. The whole team has been most helpful and made our move to Shropshire as smooth as possible. We would certainly use Barbers again. Going through and divorce and moving out of the family home was a pressure, however Tresa manage this situation with compassion. Nothing was to much and she kept me informed of the sellers updates. From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
