2nd Jun 2023 (3 years ago)I was very disappointed with the lack of any interest in my property. I was constantly told that sales in the area were virtually nil, and to reduce the price, this brought no more interest at all to the table. I decided to take my property off the market, at least until my contract time with Chewton rose is up.
22nd May 2025 (1 year ago)Chris and Jo from Fenn Wright are both very experienced and professional and certainly know their stuff. They are both very friendly and approachable and were on hand to guide as and when was necessary. I would use them again to sell my house.

Within hours he called us with the valuation explaining exactly why it was that price and then explained the process / options and gave us time to work through the the best route to take. An absolute 5* star service and I would not hesitate to contact them to sell my property. Thank you Nick absolutely great service.

Thank you to Lorraine & Gina for helping us through out the process where we were buying our first property. unfortunately we had chosen the worst solicitors imaginable. They were on the case through out the process even on their days off chasing for us. We would never have gotten the property when we did if was not for them ?? thank you girls. Safe to say if we ever move in the future we will be using knights residential in Colchester ???????????? Megan & Justin

6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)We’ve recently viewed a property with Piers and we’ve seen a few in our time! Estate agents can sometimes come across as pushy or like they’re fibbing about things. Piers has been the best estate agent I’ve ever had show me around a property. He was just himself, very personable, honest when he needed to check something to confirm the answer to questions and respected the quiet time to view the house and take it all in. Just a really lovely young man who is an asset to the agency, and I understand he hasn’t been there for very long either, We’re not sure if we’ll have an offer accepted on the property we viewed but if we were looking again, I would be more inclined to view with Balgores simply because they have Piers.

7th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)Was shown a house yesterday by Anya Williamson of Colchester agents Durden & Hunt. Although the house was not for me, a HUGE thanks to Anya for her initiative prior to the viewing. She called me in advance to find out if I needed parking permit! A relative newbie to the property business, this young woman scored a first here for me – no agent has ever demonstrated such forethought towards me EVER! Usually, the viewer is just another name on a list during a day’s work. Not so for Anya. Durden & Hunt need to look out for this lady otherwise she could be headhunted out to an agency who values people who use their initiative.
