Then they let themselves down and me, if anyone wanted to view they told them drive past and if you like it make an appointment, since when do people buy house by driving by. No feed back at all I think good opertunities were squandered a lazy team.

1st Apr 2025 (11 mo. ago)We sold our house in Cheltenham and bought our new home here in Burnham on Sea. Most of our communication was with Louise. Louise was very helpful throughout the purchase, her knowledge of the area was 2nd to none. I woukd definitely recommend Berrymans Estate Agent and IF we moved again I woukd definitely use them to sell my property. Thank you Louise and also Jack for introducing us to our new home ???? ???? ??????????

They were were accessible, proactive in communication and supportive throughout and were happy to field our questions and deal with our frustrations. We really appreciate how this impacted on our move and how it made us feel. We will definitely be recommending David James to friends in the area when they come to move.

22nd Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)We used Farrons Estate Agents for both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. While the process didn’t always go completely smoothly (as is often the case with property), the team at Farrons were excellent throughout. They kept everything tied together, communicated clearly, and kept us informed at every stage, which made a huge difference. We stuck by them throughout the process, and they absolutely delivered. Pricing was fair, the service was professional, and the support we received was second to none. A special mention to Jo and Andrew, who were both fantastic, along with the rest of the team who worked hard behind the scenes. Thanks to Farrons, we’re now happily settled in our new home. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property. Simon & Julie
19th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)We just recently moved from Bristol to Cheddar. Laurel & Wylde weren't our estate agents but they were for our purchase. Jane May was excellent from start to finish she kept us updated (not only us the whole chain). I do believe if it wasn't for Jayne the move might not of happened. A massive thank you Jayne. If anyone is looking for help in selling & moving Laurel & Wylde are an absolute must 10 out of 10.

4th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)Brilliant team at the Wedmore branch. After a very long and stressful time they helped us get there quickly and smoothly at the end. Can’t thank them enough! Would highly recommend them.- 2nd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Cooper and Tanner Lettings Ltd were employed by our Landlord to oversee the serving of a section 21 notice (submitted for no reason by the landlord other than he wanted to raise the rent by 25%). This was delayed as we had to involve environmental health due to damp, mould, rats and broken hinges on windows. Caroline Peebles-Brown was initially supportive, stating that we had done our best to maintain the property and it was in much better condition than the landlord had suggested - although the landlord (Colin Leach) had not redcorated, recarpeted or repaired any of the property for our 9 year tenure. She also confirmed that any damage to colouring of the walls was due to age and not nicotine (neither of us smoked). Her stance soon changed and we felt that she had been devious in her initial approach with us. The section 21 notice was issued as soon as possible (after a long list of jobs to be completed had been submitted by environmental health). Both my housemate and I are clased as vulnerable due to illness and this was never considered or taken into account. Having no choice but to request a subject access request regarding the use of our personal data, we received copies of specific emails between Caroline and the landlord, colluding together regarding the return of our deposit. Although this company acted as our agents for only a short period (and I believe no longer act on behalf of the landlord), they were deceitful, inconsiderate, more concerned with completing the list of jobs given to them by enviromental health than considering our mental health (we had workmen arrive at short notice and on the weekends) and were unprofessional. If you are a tenant looking to rent a property through this company, I would wait until the new legislation comes in, early next year.

Michael was very professional at all stages, always replying to any queries quickly, giving excellent advice and always available. We were really pleased with the photos and marketing, and viewings and achieved a quick sale. We were also very happy with the aftercare too, making sure the sale went through smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Charles Barnard again.

9th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)After 10 days I changed estate agents as was not happy with Nest. They have no office they only advertise on Rightmove but didn't mention this before the ad went live. They were a grand more expensive than some other estate agents. My house was badly advertised at first like a kids Wendy house. No for sale sign turned up and I was given an EPC through the estate agent which was overpriced. This was all done by Oliver who was also about to go on leave for a week. I would not recommend Nest and only went with them as buying a new house through them.

Peter was very accommodating with extra viewings (even on a Sunday) and Sharon worked tirelessly and professionally to coordinate solicitors for exchange when we hit a few road bumps. Peter even dropped a card and bottle of fizz round on completion. Many thanks both!

14th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I used House of Jackson removals (part of Charles Barnard estate agents) to transport all of my belongings to my new home. Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
