Chris, Elen, Magnus & the team were all involved throughout the entire process and made what can be a stressful process as easy as it could be. Communication and updates were frequent which kept us informed about the progress of both transactions. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!
22nd Jan 2026 (15 weeks ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Always very responsive, professional, and understanding. I've been asked to provide feedback on an area where they can improve, but I really struggle to think of anything. I strongly recommend this agency. If you take care of the property, there will be no issues.

Megan McFarlane was incredibly helpful and assisted me throughout, from the initial enquiry right through to moving in. Communication was always prompt and professional. Highly recommend Abbotts and Megan in particular — a truly seamless letting experience.

30th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Rude! And cannot organise themselves let alone update records! I booked a valuation which was then rearranged as they double booked! Fine it happens but you’ve lost the potential sale, then a guy called jack / Jake calls and after I tell him what’s happened he takes it personally and hangs up after getting a strop on! It might not have been him who booked the valuation but you work for the same company and yet I’ve had 4 calls afterwards them trying to book another valuation, update your records stop calling and organise yourselves better! Ridiculous, after the fourth call and I’ve told them the feedback won’t be great you get oh ok!- 24th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Joe has been absolutely outstanding throughout my entire mortgage process. As a first-time buyer, I had a lot of questions and uncertainties, but he guided me through every step with patience, clarity, and professionalism. He was always quick to respond, explained everything in simple terms, and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. I genuinely felt supported from start to finish. 8th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)When I moved in originally I gave a 5* review. Once they had my money they stopped communicating, wouldn’t do the things they said they would, passed blame around and never took accountability, did not follow their own policies when it came to repairs. It got to the point where we had to threaten legal action if they did not get the repairs done. Our landlord failed to provide enough keys and so we were told we had to pay to make copies ourselves. We had many issues with the property and Tucker Gardner was no help. They lied to us prior to signing the lease and went back on promises they had made. It has been over a month since we moved out and we still have not received our deposit. Communication is terrible at Tucker Gardner. I am truly disappointed that what started out as a great relationship quickly turned sour. Our landlord also had his own struggles with them not providing the services he was paying for. Don’t work with TG Lettings, they’re dishonest and they don’t care once they have your money.

23rd Apr 2026 (15 days ago)Useless. They asked me to call a plumber myself when the boiler in our rental unit failed, being just one of many failures we experienced throughout our time there. Currently having to take a landlord they work with to court due to deposit claims, which has only happened because they delayed issuing returns until just after the deadline meaning the free process wasn't available to us, couple this with mistakes in basic maths and misrepresentation of facts paints a very clear painting of a company that's don't know what they're doing. Stay well clear. In response to your follow up, the email in question is from 19/02/2024 from Harvey Simpkins after a phone call. You as real estate agents if you choose to stand by and represent these landlords then this is very much a reflection of your company and values.

We spoke regularly to Mike Bidwell who was our main contact and he was very proactive in trying to move the purchase along. Mike also went out of his way to resolve an issue after we'd moved into the property, which we are very thankful for. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Exquisite Homes to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
