4th May 2025 (1 year ago)Rented with this Agency for a few years and although was a cordial relationship for most of the time, it deteriorated towards the end, as their professionalism, politeness and communication appear to have gone very much downhill. It culminated in a remarkably poorly handled retrospective rent increase with no notice given. It’s a great shame as I wanted to give them a positive review. So I would advise prospective Tenants & Landlords to exercise strong caution with considering using this Estate Agency.

In particular, Mike Lurot has the attributes of a terrific agent with his market knowledge, customer service, strong interpersonal and technical skills. The result was a stress free and straightforward purchase. So Mike, thanks for that. Lurot Brand certainly live up to their well earned excellent reputation.

From the very first moment I approached them to sell my flat in St Johns Wood, they showed real commitment and care, always making sure everything was handled efficiently. Jessy Kattar, the sales manager, went the extra mile, not only in managing the sale process but also in stepping in during some quite complicated legal matters. Jessy worked closely with solicitors, helping to resolve issues, keep communication flowing and ensure the transaction moved forward without unnecessary delays. Not to mention that I was very impressed with how she handled the negotiations with confidence and professionalism and ultimately achieving the best possible price for my property. Her dedication and hands-on approach made a big difference throughout what can often be a stressful process. I’m very grateful for her support and would not hesitate to recommend Metropole Properties to anyone selling their home. Naser H.

7th Oct 2019 (6 years ago)Thiefs, liars, manipulators; these are just kind words to describe them. I was verbally attacked twice in the building ( shiraj tower), got followed by crackheads squatting in the building and all i got from them is ''this happens before, just call the police and exagerate it''. lift breaks and theres no way of getting to 5th floor, floodings, infestations, rats, piles of trash for weeks... I left 2 months ago and im still having problems with them. Also, they tried to steal for us saying we owed more money, wasnt until we asked for the actual bill that we realized. DO NOT RENT A FLAT FROM THEM, WE'RE STUDENTS AND ITS THE WORST DECISION IVE EVER MADE.

They have done a truly professional job, and the flat has been tenanted for almost 100% of the time. Our contacts at Obbard have been consistently professional, friendly, and easy to reach. 2nd Sep 2021 (4 years ago)Marie went more than the extra mile in ensuring a successful sale. Despite many twists and turns before the sale was complete she met every challenge professionally and rapidly. Couldn't have asked more or got better anywhere else.
27th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Thought they were great to begin with then realised they were not! If you're thinking of renting a residential property from them consider if you'd like to live with a hole in your kitchen roof for weeks without being fixed, if you want your deposit properly protected in a scheme and if you want your deposit back without taking action against them. Seriously incompetent staff, rude and disrespectful. The flat we rented was one of 3, "refurbished" (if you can call it that) office buildings (Oh yeah, they take their commercial buildings and flip them haha!) with what I am guessing is no insulation, black mould throughout and a roof that held 4 inches+ of water which caused a leak and the roof to be taken out, then left. I had to fight for my deposit back because the idiot of an estate agent that went on holiday didn't send the new tenant a contract. No cover, no communication. All lacking in any kind of critical thinking. The list goes on.... AVOID!

12th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)Worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. Alex&Matteo signed a contract with us on 17th February to market our property and confidently promised to sell our flat within 8 weeks. From the outset, there were nothing but false promises. During those 8 weeks, not a single viewing was arranged. Whenever I tried to contact Matteo, there was always an excuse — he was on holiday, they had forgotten to list the property on Rightmove, or his partner Michael supposedly didn’t have access to emails. Communication was extremely poor, and we received no meaningful updates, feedback, or progress reports at any point. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
