16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Chestertons Islington is, without question, the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The sheer incompetence, appalling communication and complete lack of accountability throughout our experience have been genuinely astonishing.<br><br>Our tenancy and moving-out process was an absolute nightmare. We incurred approximately £4,000 in additional costs, spent countless hours chasing emails and attempting to resolve issues, and were subsequently faced with further disputes over what we consider to be completely unreasonable deposit deductions.<br><br>What makes this experience particularly infuriating is the apparent unwillingness to acknowledge mistakes or take meaningful responsibility for resolving them. The amount of time, money and energy we have wasted dealing with Chestertons is frankly ridiculous. For a company that markets itself as a reputable, high-end estate agency, the standard of service we received was nothing short of disgraceful.<br><br>The only exception has been Alhad, who has been helpful throughout an otherwise horrendous experience.<br><br>I cannot stress enough how strongly I would advise anyone against using Chestertons Islington- AND CHESTERTONS AS A WHOLE. I have genuinely never encountered such consistently poor service from any company. An extraordinarily expensive, stressful and exhausting experience that I would not wish on anyone.<br><br>Avoid at all costs.

She answered every question quickly.<br><br>It was my first time, and I did not understand referencing. She explained each step and each document I needed.<br><br>She told me the facts, good and bad and didn’t waste my time and stuck to my specifications. She kept each step on schedule. I always knew what came next. I recommend her to anyone who wants a property!!

What I really appreciate is that she doesn’t just acknowledge an issue, she makes an effort to find a solution and follows up when needed to make sure things are sorted.<br><br>From our experience with previous property managers, I feel that Sarese is the right person for this role. She’s reliable, professional and clearly cares about doing her job well.<br><br>Thank you, Sarese, for all your help!

She was attentive and I really appreciated how much care she put into everything. It showed how genuinely caring and dedicated she is. The day after we left, we noticed my wife had left the earrings she got for our 50th anniversary. We contacted Charlotte Romanini. She contacted the cleaning staff and had the earrings sent to her office. She helped facilitate the shipment of the earrings back to us in the states. They arrived today in perfect condition thanks to Charlotte and her staff for packaging them and getting them ready for shipment. Her efforts were above and beyond with lots of communication to us. Thanks for all you did for us. Great job!

My agent was responsive and helpful at first, but after I declined to make an offer on a property I couldn't view (the current tenants weren't allowing tours), he stopped replying entirely. I followed up several times over a few weeks and never heard back. That was disappointing, especially since I've had much better experiences with Foxtons branches elsewhere in London. On a positive note, the rest of the team and the receptionist were lovely and welcoming.- 20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)I had a fantastic experience with Morgan from the Pimlico office. Buying property is always stressful and ends up taking longer than anyone expects, but Rebecca was incredibly helpful through the process, provided great advice, I think did an excellent job of looking out for our interests, and was without a doubt the most responsive agent with whom I have ever worked. Rebecca was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I could not recommend her highly enough.
