11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)I would highly recommend Zack and the whole team at Hunters in Barnsley.<br>We had many complications with our sale, outside of anyone’s control, and the team handled it all with great communication, patience and tenacity in getting the house to completion.<br>If anyone is thinking about selling in their area I would not hesitate to point them in the direction of Hunters. Thanks to all.
5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Lancasters continue to disappoint me. They don't respond to emails, and give fake promises over the phone. I have been nothing but patient and polite. But it's beyond ridiculous how they have treated me with such disregard as a tenant.<br><br>I made a report 6 months ago and absolutely has been done.<br>There are issues with damp and black mold, blocked plumbing, freezing draughts, leaking roof. Most of which has been reported as far back as 2024.<br><br>When I moved into the property they said it would be deep cleaned. It wasn’t. It took a full day of cleaning before moving our belongings because it was absolutely filthy.<br><br>After a few months I noticed many poorly done fixes to make the house appear rentable. Alot of things had just been left broken or unusable even though there was plenty of time for it to be fixed beforehand.<br><br>I'm extremely disappointed in Lancasters lack of service and professionalism.
2nd Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)I do feel that they need to have social media platforms to promote properties like most agents do. Also there is no shop to go in or for them to advertise the brochure etc. there way of working g may work for some for houses that will sell quickly but not for me.
5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)We can very highly recommended Wilbys Chartered Surveyors, Estate and Lettings Agents, to be use as Estate agents. We first met the staff in 2026, after viewing and buying an apartment, and putting family bungalow for sale. Wilbys staff was very helpful, friendly, professional, and welcoming. They helped us with all our enquiries, and given information, and advice.

10th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)We had Lancasters sell on our behalf as we did not live locally and had been renting it out for some years. They acted very professionally and we liked the people we dealt with along the way.
3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)It never turned up to the view in. Making up excuses. I find this very, very disappointing from a letting agency making it harder for people like myself to try and find somewhere to live. And then they refused to turn not to the view and make one excuse after another. I find this very disappointed and very angry I come two and a half hours away on Friday and never turned up. It's one skis after a novel. And I find it very disappointing. When someone's coming nearly two and a half hours away to view a property. I'm very disappointed and very angry and now I've got to look for another letting agency. Never wanted to resolve it.
16th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)The Property Shop has looked after my properties for 11 years. Lee, Dawn and Steph work very hard with great results - Especially with rents paid so efficiently. I believe that the tenants are looked after so well because of TPS professional standards. TPS sold properties for me - again, I trust Lee completely and he puts himself ‘out’ to get the job done. I recommend TPS, wholeheartedly.

15th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Initially good to deal with. Purchased a new home through them and found them pleasant. However, things have gone downhill after we found that the new home we purchased was not mortgageable. Have told us that they have nothing to do with the deposit we paid even though they sent the e-mail with bank details on. Would not recommend as at the first sign of a problem they have disappeared and washed their hands of us.

Danielle answered every question with patience, guided us through each step, and genuinely made the whole experience feel less overwhelming.<br><br>What stood out most was that her help didn’t stop once the sale completed. She continued to go the extra mile, chasing up our onward purchase and offering advice whenever we needed it. That support made a real difference to us.<br><br>We’re incredibly grateful for everything she did and would recommend Danielle without hesitation. Although we hope it’ll be a long time before we move again, we wouldn’t think twice about using her services in the future or recommending her to others.

From the very beginning, he has been incredibly efficient, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my purchase journey so far.<br><br>Jake submitted my very first offer on what will be my dream home, and he has gone above and beyond at every stage since. He even delayed his lunch break so I could get to the office with my paperwork, then helped with all the technical side of uploading the documents so everything could be processed quickly.<br><br>Communication has been outstanding. Jake has kept me fully informed about my vendor's house search and the progress of the rest of the chain, so I've always known where things stood. He also instructed my solicitors on my behalf, making the whole process much smoother and taking a lot of the stress away.<br><br>Whenever I've called or emailed, Jake has always responded promptly.<br><br>If you're buying or selling a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake and the team at Mallinson & Co.
