11th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)I attempted to purchase a property through this agency and, unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I have had. Throughout the process, inaccurate and misleading information was provided, which appeared to be aimed at progressing the sale. Communication was also very poor, with little to no proactive updates unless we repeatedly chased for information.<br><br>As a result of this misinformation, we have been left out of pocket and extremely disappointed with the service we received. I would not recommend this agency based on our experience.

Michael is exceptionally knowledgeable about the market and consistently gives thoughtful, honest advice rather than simply telling clients what they want to hear. What really sets him apart is his calm professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to guide decisions with confidence and integrity. He understands both the emotional and financial sides of property transactions and has always made us feel we were in very capable hands. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone looking to buy or sell property. He is experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely committed to achieving the best possible outcome.

Other estate agents said our house was likely to be many months before it sold as it required a certain type of buyer who wanted a remote countryside home. But with Peter Lane they used their extensive list of buyers and found a handful who could be interested in our property immediately. We sold our house within 2 weeks at the price we wanted. The agents were super friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Price was better than most other agents. Photos and advert exceeded expectations
28th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)I'd just like to share my experience with this company. I rented a beautiful cottage through Hix at a very fair price. It was a dream come true for me. I was there for roughly 6 years. Hix were the nicest most accessible and responsive company to work with. It helped them that I took good care of the cottage and in return they treated me with the greatest respect and actioned any jobs quickly. The only reason I left my lovely cottage was because I met a lovely lady and we set up home together and we're still there. If I had to rent again, Hix would be my first port of call. Thanks ladies!
