17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

From my very first contact Edward was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Edward and his team made the whole process very straightforward and at all times they kept me well informed with rhe process.<br>I would not hesitate to recommend Roger Coupe, and in particular Edward in regards to selling a property.

Quick and efficient responses for all our queries. Then we bought our first house through them as well and their help was amazing. Every person of the staff I talked to knew about our case. I absolutely recommend them for your next rent/purchase. They will look after you.

He worked diligently and kept us informed daily. He provided advice continually, all of which led to a successful sale. If it wasn’t for Cameron I am convinced that the sale and purchase would not have happened.
3rd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)They came out to do a property valuation, and we never heard from then again.<br>No follow up, no call, no email.<br>They valued our property the lowest of all 5 agents who came out and the gentleman seemed relaxed and uninterested.

13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Very negative experience. Oliver was probably using AI and copy-pasting responses in emails—nothing felt personal or genuine. He also used high-pressure sales tactics and seemed willing to say anything to close a deal. I was helping my mum sell her property and was really put off by the whole approach.
6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Didn’t overvalue property to get our custom. Liked the way they had a WhatsApp group to keep everyone in the loop. Changed photos to get more interest in property and checked in with us.
4th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)The agency were good in most respects, however they suggested dropping the price within a few weeks of the property going on the market, which made us question their original valuation. Ultimately the original valuation turned out to be pretty accurate.

Friendly and professional, with a sense of calm and good humour and excellent communication that ensured everyone was kept updated at every step of the way. Whilst we have no intention of moving again any time soon, we will contact Gavin again when the time comes and would recommend the Cranleigh office to anyone considering a move.
