I recently used Osbourne Estate agents as a first time buyer, before the house went through the searches, the survey picked up that the house needed work and therefore could not have a mortgage until the work was completed. Absolutely shocking from start to finish. They call themselves an estate agency but honestly couldn’t run a kids party. Communication was poor, organisation was chaotic and I constantly had to chase for updates and answers. The whole experience was stressful, frustrating and completely lacking in professionalism. Simple issues took far too long to resolve and there seemed to be very little accountability throughout. I would strongly advise people to avoid using this agency based on my experience. Terrible!... I just purchased a bungalow and used 3EA-Three Estate Agents Talbot Green. Brilliant. They keep you informed as to everything that is happening and not kept in the dark about anything. Our Experience with Property Plus We initially invited four local estate agents to value our property in Tonypandy. Having done our own due diligence, we already had a good idea of its market value. When the representative from Property Plus came to assess the property, she confidently claimed she could achieve a higher price and mentioned she had years of experience as a former surveyor. On that basis, we decided to give them a chance and proceeded on a sole agency agreement. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were left with the impression that she was largely winging it. We received very few updates — no proactive phone calls after the limited number of viewings, and little to no genuine feedback from potential buyers. Most communication came via the occasional text or email, and overall the process felt very “hands off.” Any meaningful updates required us to visit the office in person, which, to be fair, was a much better experience and more in line with what we’d expected from the start. In summary, we felt trapped in a poor sole agency agreement and that the three-month term was largely wasted due to a lack of communication, feedback, and follow-up.... Read more
