He was consistent throughout with his communication and dialogue making things less stressful for my partner and I which she was worried about esp around Christmas time with younger kids. Would recommend chris 100% and no doubt will be asking for his help again in the future

The staff are all fantastic and Karen and Lauren really kept us at ease and were so helpful, fast and understanding when our sale fell through and we needed to put our flat back on the market. From the very beginning, Danielle handled our case brilliantly. Her communication was excellent throughout; responses were always prompt, and every request we made was followed up quickly and efficiently. What really stood out was how professional and reassuring she was without ever being pushy (which, in our experience, can sometimes happen with estate agents). She made the whole process feel organised, transparent, and calm. Olivia also deserves special mention. On the one occasion we spoke while Danielle was away, she stepped in seamlessly and handled our request as if she had been managing the case all along. That level of coordination and teamwork is rare and very impressive. Gill, who showed us the property, was equally fantastic; kind, courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to answer questions and made the viewing feel relaxed and informative rather than rushed as it was a big step for us. She also helped calm my nerves at a time when I was feeling quite stressed, as it was my first time purchasing a property in Scotland. Her reassurance and patience really made a difference. Overall, the team combines real expertise with a genuinely supportive approach. At times it honestly felt like we had a team negotiating and advocating on our behalf. They made us feel heard, were flexible and accommodating, and consistently demonstrated that they were doing their absolute best for us. Having bought and sold a few properties over the years, I can honestly say we’ve never experienced estate agents quite like this. A truly excellent team and a credit to Slater Hogg & Howison Helensburgh.

From our very first viewing to completion, Gil was consistently welcoming, patient, and incredibly supportive. She always gave us a listening ear, answered every question with care, and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and reassuring. Her professionalism was matched by her kindness, and we always felt like we were in safe hands. Thank you, Gil and the entire team at Savills, for helping us find and settle into a place we now proudly call home. We’re so grateful
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

The photographer used is also superb and the pictures/video came out really well. Friendly, helpful and informed they explained everything well. They demonstrated open communication with both me as a seller and my buyers. Their use of social media was really helpful in the advertising process. My house sold very quickly, within a few days of being on the market. I would 100% recommend Bohome to support the sale of your house. I will use them again if I decide to move again. Helen, Hamilton

His approach is entirely customer-focused, and his level of service goes far beyond what most agents deliver. He recently sold a family property that was deeply sentimental to me, and the care he showed throughout the process was exceptional. Scott personally handled everything from selecting the photos and writing the listing content to conducting every viewing himself. The result was a sale handled with real understanding, tact and professionalism. From his first valuation and market guidance to achieving nearly 10% over the Home Report value, every part of his work was first class. Scott is a pleasure to work with, outstanding at what he does, and my go-to estate agent in Scotland. I’d recommend him without hesitation.
