A special mention has to go to Kim, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. She kept me informed every step of the way, was always quick to respond, had a clear strategy and made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Overall, a brilliant service and a genuinely positive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and effective estate agent.

Afterwards we were contacted throughout the sale from Ellece, who was an absolute star and could not have be more helpful throughout the process. So glad we chose residence.

3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

What truly sets Karen apart is her unwavering support and problem-solving mindset. Every obstacle we faced, she approached with determination and calm confidence, always finding a way forward. She kept me informed at every stage, reassured me when things became stressful, and went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. Her commitment and persistence made a real difference, and I genuinely felt I had someone in my corner throughout the entire journey. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Siobhan Cox, the Bearsden office director, for her professionalism and leadership. Her support and oversight clearly reflect the high standards of the team, and it was reassuring to know such experienced guidance was behind the process. After having our property listed with another agent for quite some time, we decided to switch to Bohome, and the difference was immediate. Viewings started straight away, and the property was sold in quick time at a great price. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone new to the area who is looking to sell their home.

From our initial meeting right through to the sale of our property, Stefan was so knowledgeable and was on hand to support us as and when we needed it. He answered any questions, assuaged any concerns we had and helped us achieve our goal of a quick turnaround by getting the property on the market within 4 days of appointing him as our estate agent and then getting a record sale on our property within 8 days. Very happy we decided to appoint Batchelor's as our estate agents!

Once I was ready to sell, both Lyndsay and Alex moved very quickly to visit, take photos and arrange the Home Report. I received 4 excellent offers from the first arranged viewings and the property was sold within the first week. I highly recommend Moving as an Estate Agents and would definitely use them again.

I knew from reviews that they would deliver an excellent service and I can now say that I would wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone. Within the first day of contacting Elevate, Joanne and her team had arranged the photographer and contacted the surveyor. By that evening, I had received a detailed timeline and overview of the process. Communication has been fantastic and the team have been so supportive and informative, which was really helpful especially as a first-time seller. My property sold within the week of going live! I am so grateful to Joanne and Sharon and the whole team. From the very beginning, it was clear they take a genuinely customer-first approach, and that really sets them apart. They also helped me find my first home, which is something I’ll always be grateful for — it’s an experience that means a lot to me, and for that they’ll always have a special place in my journey. Whenever any issues arose, they were handled quickly and efficiently. Communication was always prompt, and you could tell they actually cared about resolving problems properly rather than just ticking boxes. Every concern I raised was taken seriously and actioned without unnecessary delays, which made a big difference. What stands out most is that they’re a small, family-run business, and it shows in the level of service you receive. Their service has been exceptional, definitely exceeded our expectations. As international students studying in Glasgow, it always feels good to know that we’re in safe hands.

Even although they are located in the west and we sold in Midlothian, it makes no difference. Don't just rely on local Estate Agents. Bohome know the market all over Scotland and happy to travel to your home with their friendly approach to ease the whole sale. Even following up with you after you move to ensure you're settling in. Highly recommend.
