She was both friendly and professional and offered good communication throughout our dealings. So I can not speak for the rest of Proffitt and Holt as an agency, as I only really dealt with her and she was a very good representive and ambassador of them.

We had two minor issues from the buyer which were quickly resolved. So if you want a stress free experience Slades are the way forward. Thank you all.

Over the years I have worked with and for many estate agents and never have I come across one who is so proactive, professional and helpful in all respects. He did not give up ever and chased for information and ensured a speedy exchange and completion actually on time and as promised. Great experience and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Murray to handle any future sale. Thank you, Murray.

Via Properties let our property for us after it had been marketed with two other local agents - we were initially doubtful on what extra service they would give us but we are so glad we worked with them & wished we had them on board from the start!! Their service from start to finish was second to none, really friendly and informative, proactive and reassuring. The photography and marketing they put together was brilliant and quick. They found our tenants within a few weeks in a very quiet market. They were on hand to answer any questions and always responded to us quickly and helpfully. As first time landlords they really guided us through the process step by step and I always felt up to date and informed throughout. We were able to have open and honest discussions with Enzo and he really listened to us as clients and endeavoured to deliver the best result for us whilst taking all our concerns into consideration. We will no doubt use them in the future for our property needs for both sales and lettings. Just want to say a huge thank you to you all!

I made multiple viewing requests, and they arranged everything promptly without any hesitation. Mark was always available to answer my questions, offered great advice, and even went the extra mile by following up with the vendor to ensure everything went smoothly. It was truly a pleasure working with such dedicated professionals. I also want to acknowledge Esther and Nabeel for their support during this journey. A big thank you to the entire team! One small suggestion: during the key handover, it would be wonderful to have a small booth or setup for photos perhaps with flowers, sweets to make the moment even more memorable. Buying a home is a special milestone, and adding a celebratory touch would create lasting memories. Overall, highly recommended!

Selling a property can be stressful, but Peter made the entire process smooth, straightforward, and even enjoyable. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble — he consistently went above and beyond at every stage. Whether it was keeping me updated, answering questions quickly, or handling unexpected challenges with total confidence, he exceeded every expectation I had. What really stood out was his dedication and work ethic. He didn’t just do his job — he truly cared about getting the best possible outcome for me. I can genuinely say he is light years ahead of any other estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. If you’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and exceptional at what they do, Peter is the one. I’m so grateful for everything he did and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone.

26th Mar 2025 (11 mo. ago)Andrew, Gemma, Adam and the rest of the team at Haart Stevenage that have helped me & my Wife sell our house have been superb from start to finish. From keeping me up to date with what is going on with the sale, solicitors to answering any and all questions I have had. Cannot recommend them enough, if I had to do this all again I would 100% pick Haart!

5th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)We sold our home through Robsons Rickmansworth. Our instructed agent was Matthew Gooder. Clear and repeated instructions about how to market our property were not followed by Mr Gooder, with Robsons marketing strategy proving weak with poor communication and little follow-through. We had specifically asked him to conduct viewings himself as he had promised at the outset (he never did) and a SAR request against this office later revealed offers that were not forwarded, undisclosed buyer interest and a premature cessation of marketing efforts despite our instructions. At the same time, Robsons were also involved in our onward purchase via another office. Mr Gooder repeatedly appeared distracted by the purchase. We later discovered he was central to a bitter dispute with that office at that exact time and there are cross-office financial incentives, giving rise to a substantial conflict of interest, that were never disclosed to us. This dispute went to court, making the national press and anyone considering instructing Mr Gooder should read it for themselves and consider if the toxic culture it highlights at Robsons is really in your best interests as clients. Search: “Nicholas Walker v Robsons Rickmansworth”. We raised all these concerns through Robsons’ complaints process but they've refused to investigate despite previous promises to do so. Overall our experience with Robsons proved unnecessarily stressful and the service provided by Mr Gooder in particular was extremely poor. We would not recommend using them.

They look after the management of our estate and have made many improvements, all of which have had a really positive impact. Joanna and her team are professional, approachable, and easy to communicate with, always keeping us informed and addressing any issues promptly. It’s reassuring to know our estate is being managed so well, and I would highly recommend Joanna and the team at Novus Residential.
6th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)Excellent service. We decided to take our property offline for personal reasons but while Ryan and his team were marketing our flat we received excellent service. They are a hard working, efficient and driven team. I never had to follow up with them, they provided us continual feedback and kept us appraised of any market updates. If you’re tired of dealing with young/inexperienced estate agents from big companies then I would recommend giving these guys a shot!

Once his part of the process was complete, Lindsay took over and was equally impressive. She kept me updated every step of the way and responded to my emails almost instantly. What usually feels like a stressful process was incredibly smooth thanks to their expertise. I cannot recommend Trefton and Lindsay enough for anyone looking for a move with a personal touch!"

It means a lot when you get the sense of people caring, and taking pride in their profession…be proud of yourselves and thank you so much for all your efforts along the way.
