The team were knowledgeable about the local market, kept us updated regularly and were always available when needed. A special mention to Jack, who was tenacious throughout and kept us informed at all times. We really appreciated his proactiveness in keeping things moving and ensuring the sale stayed on track, which helped reduce a lot of the usual stress. We would definitely use them again and would happily recommend them to others.

1st May 2026 (8 days ago)They had since September to sell our property, which was first listed at their own valuation. Over the months, they repeatedly advised us to reduce the price, which we did three times. We were out of contract with them from December, but still ended up stuck with them until 1st May. In that time, we had only three viewings, and we believe one of those may not have been genuine. It felt like they were just bringing anyone round to make it look as though they were doing something, including people who had not even sold their own property. They have wasted valuable time when we could have been with a company that actually cared about selling our home. Now that we are going with another estate agent, they want £300 from us after seven months of poor service. Avoid at all costs.

Great friendly, informative and professional service and awesome communication. Which was really important to me. She helped secure the flat I desperately wanted and walked me through the process expertly and easily. The office is easy to find and central in Clevedon. She’s always at hand for any questions and always answers personally and with care. Thank you Rachel, so very much appreciated. Ian Peters.

14th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Two years ago, when I moved out of one of their houses, I had to pay a special cleaning team to clean the oven. I sent them pictures of how the oven looked before I moved in and how it looks now, 10 times cleaner than it was. I had to pay anyway. I asked for a bill from the cleaning team because I wanted to check if they had robbed me, I'm still waiting for the bill. I do not recommend it.

19th Nov 2025 (24 weeks ago)We just recently moved from Bristol to Cheddar. Laurel & Wylde weren't our estate agents but they were for our purchase. Jane May was excellent from start to finish she kept us updated (not only us the whole chain). I do believe if it wasn't for Jayne the move might not of happened. A massive thank you Jayne. If anyone is looking for help in selling & moving Laurel & Wylde are an absolute must 10 out of 10.

21st Apr 2026 (18 days ago)Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, especially if you are renting through them. I’m really disappointed with my experience. The people I’ve spoken to have always come across as polite and approachable, which made me feel initially reassured. However, that hasn’t been reflected in how my situation has actually been handled. My main issue is with my deposit. It has now been over 2 months, and I am still waiting for a proper response or resolution despite following up multiple times. This has been frustrating and stressful, especially as it feels like there’s a lack of urgency in dealing with something that matters a lot to me. Each time I call, I’m directed to the lettings team, but they often seem unaware of my case or any previous communication, even after I’ve been in touch repeatedly. This shows a clear lack of internal communication and coordination. It’s disappointing because the conversations themselves feel positive, but the follow-through just isn’t there. I was expecting a more efficient and transparent service.

6th May 2026 (3 days ago)The process has been remarkably quick and efficient from receiving the Get Agent information on the 3-5 top performing local estate agents, to selecting our Personal Estate agent who has excellent knowledge of the local environment and current sales values. She supported our presentation of the home and her pre-publicity and social media "video teasers" were a highly useful marketing tool. We had received an offer before going to market due to her knowledge of local buyers. We did however wait to open market and have had an offer within 10days!

14th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I used House of Jackson removals (part of Charles Barnard estate agents) to transport all of my belongings to my new home. Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
