17th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)Very easy to deal with and got on with the process quickly. Any queries were dealt with quickly and much to my surprise managed to secure a number of viewings which given the current climate was excellent. We are currently in the under offer stage and we will see if this goes to completion. Overall so far I can only describe the process with them as excellent. One issue I would have changed from the beginning was to add a floor plan to the marketing information which they don't do as standard. We did agree to do this if necessary so not really an issue.
22nd May 2025 (1 year ago)Be very careful when purchasing a property and you get a last minute call to say there is a higher offer if you can beat it its yours. And on the other foot will try and knock the price of your property down to get a sale. Nice and smooth to your face but trust is so important in business and I would never trust him again. You should have my details on record as I dealt with you several times on behalf of my parents. Unfortunately they were very trusting and didnt want to make a fuss. Now they have passed away it is important to others that I share this review to help them.
9th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)Very professional from start to finish, valuation was spot on for the area and marketing photos, content etc, excellent. House sold within 6 weeks. Very quick response to potential buyers enquiries, gave me updates etc, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and experienced in their field. Price/fees were on par or better than other local agents and they accompanied all potential buyer visits, feedback was comprehensive from the viewings and was very quick i.e. within hours of viewings. When we accepted an offer a letter of sale confirmation was received within 24 hours and they contacted both parties solicitors to get proceedings started. Overall using Mallard to market my property was a very easy and quick process at a competitive price with all departments being professional, friendly and experienced, would highly recommend Mallards.
28th May 2025 (1 year ago)Wasn’t impressed with the photos or marketing blurb. Other agencies valued the property lower. I went with WWP as the highest valuation as they seemed confident they could achieve that price. Her communication was clear and timely, and she worked hard to keep everything moving quickly — which meant a lot after the setbacks we’d had with other properties. 14th Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)The house was in immaculate condition, realistically priced despite over-valuation and it sold itself in a very short timescale. Therefore the agents charges, although lower than other agents’, did not reflect their effort.

20th Mar 2026 (22 weeks ago)Not impressed they put people working before people on benefits tell you if your on benefits you can't afford the property even though you will get housing benefit and iv noticed on quite a few reviews on here they blame the landlords for everything half the reviews on here are probably from people they know or friends with them im glad im not renting from them- 17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)I had a fantastic experience with John Francis in Carmarthen throughout my property purchase, and I especially want to mention Claire, who was brilliant from start to finish.<br><br>The communication was excellent. Claire kept me updated throughout and relayed everything from the auction house and seller clearly and promptly, which made the whole process much less stressful.<br><br>She was always professional, approachable and extremely helpful. I really appreciated how well she kept everything moving and made sure I was never left wondering what was happening.<br><br>A massive thank you to Claire and the John Francis team — I’d have no hesitation recommending them!

13th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)When telling your clients the package, tell them the whole package and don't give them disinformation. £999 was what we were verbally told until house was sold. Not for six months marketing. Shocking tactics, to then tell you that the marketing is buried deep in the terms and conditions. Shame on you, I hope you can sleep at night.
