14th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)From the initial meeting/valuation through the viewings to the offer & sale process, David Conway provided a great service. Their on-line tools were really helpful monitoring progress. The staff were friendly, very considerate and helpful.

I gave them an apartment complete with everything to manage and it was returned to me empty. they also took away the television and the microwave oven, as well as the table and armchairs and various furnishings. the tragic thing is that I was told that this is how it is used in London. I think it's theft.
24th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)What a rude staff! I called this morning to ask about a property advertised. The phone reception was not good and I couldn't understand what he was saying on the other line. I asked him to repeat and HE HUNG UP ON ME. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. What kind of a "reputable" company are you representing?
16th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)Our tenancy was years ago, but I came across some old correspondence and realised I should leave a warning for others. Renting through Apple Estates was a nightmare. Key issues included: Being deliberately misled that a bathroom was ours when it belonged to the shop next door. The shopkeeper letting strangers into our home daily to use the facilities, resulting in a complete loss of privacy and security. The property being dangerously unsafe, including shutters that would lock us in without another fire exit. Critical repairs being ignored for weeks. Would very, very strongly advise against using this agency.

If you like to rent, buy or sell a property, choose Haymills agency , because the waiting time to process the documents is very short and any issues are very quickly resolved.

28th Jul 2020 (5 years ago)Quick, professional and reassuring. After an awful experience with another agency Greg at Paradigm gave myself and my flat mates faith again. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond, letting us know all our rights as renters, giving us draft tenancy agreements and passing us over to the landlord. Cannot recommend enough.

Ameet, always kept us well informed and answered all our queries. Throughout the whole process he was always available to calm our fears and answer all questions. 3rd Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)I am compelled to write this having just moved out of a property. Some of Johns and Co's practices are not only underhanded but illegal. They will try to take money out of your deposit for 'final bills' (eg. electrictiy), despite us having settled these ourselves. We lived in a property that started with a broken dishwasher (they were already aware of this prior to moving in) and a broken airconditioning unit which they did not fix in our entire tenancy. The bathroom was so poorly maintained that during the first week of us moving in the bathroom pipes leaked into the below neighbour's flat. The shower also continued leaking on to the bathroom floor every time it was used because of failure by the landlord and John's and Co to maintain the property. Additionally, we booked a move out cleaning to be done as we have a dog (which we paid additional monthly pet fees for) and we used their desired contractor. For a 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom flat to vacuum some dog hair they charged nearly £800 (it is a 500sq flat) and tried to claim that the upholstery was in a bad state. We had covers on all upholstery for our entire stay there. This upholstery was severely stained and marked when we moved in due to lack of cleaning and maintenance done by the landlord/ John's and Co. Do not rent through them if they are also managing the property and move out process.

I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average
16th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)Private Landlords – Pay attention. I have recently been unfortunate to have been a customer of Varosi Lettings as a landlord. I wish I read the reviews beforehand. I took a 2-year contract out with them to look after my property and pay rent for doing so. I had a few issues to say the least with regards to the clients they decided to house in my property. Regardless of any of these issues I was within my rights to request my keys back at the end of the 2-year contract. Within their contract it is stated they need 3 months, to the date, of the end of contract worth of notice. Not only did I email and receive confirmation by the owner Vasilis Mavrou, I also sent a Royal Mail tracked and signed letter which I also have the proof of receipt. Regardless of this information they were adamant that they did not accept the letter or email (to which they were not clear why it was not accepted). 2 days before the hand back date I spoke with Vasilis and he indicated there was absolutely no way I was getting my keys back within the contracted date agreed. I feel his ego was bruised as I wanted my keys back (again within contracted rights). As you can imagine I was very upset and confused. I spoke to my solicitor who proceeded to handle this for us. He also received vague emails from Vasilis himself regarding the contract that they may, or may not have with the local authorities and/or the client. 6 weeks later and a lot of stress and upset later, I finally received my keys back. The property was left in a state, filthy and still needed furniture to be removed. I accept wear and tear, but damage and uncleanliness is not acceptable. After speaking with Mario Neocleous, I also got confirmation a professional cleaning company had been in before the hand back. As you can see from the pictures taken, this is not the case. I am not sure why, as an agent they could not uphold the contract on their end and therefore have cost me as their customer not only a financial loss for solicitors and other expenses but also stress and a disregard for my rights as a landlord. Absolutely unprofessional and a rude organisation. Vasilis is not only rude and patronizing, but he feels a sense of authority as a high member of the Greek Cypriot community. A big shame, we call ourselves a hospitable and kind race. I feel this is lost with Varosi Lettings. I wonder how they would feel if they were treated with this manor. Mario, Petros, Hassan, Sandra and of course the main man Vasilis is who I dealt with over the 2 plus year period.

They were not only friendly but also extremely helpful, making the entire process a pleasant and stress-free one. Their willingness to listen to my specific needs and preferences was evident, as they consistently provided options that aligned perfectly with what I was looking for. The agency's commitment to after-sale service is truly commendable. The fact that they go above and beyond to ensure that their clients are satisfied even after the rental agreement has been signed sets you apart in the real estate industry. Definitely, recommend your company.
1st Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I had a great experience with AZ Real Estate (especially with a real estate agent Darya), who helped me buy my first home in London. It was my first experience in this area; therefore, I had a lot of questions. Darya from AZ Real Estate was with me from the beginning to the end when I received my keys. She was extremely helpful and always answered my calls/messages within minutes which made the whole process less stressful. Due to some problems on the seller's side the final step was delayed; however, Darya did everything to speed up the process. I would certainly recommend AZ Real Estate if you are looking to buy a new property.

4th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)I know that Aqeel kindly showed me the property and tried to help me with the contract. However, I would like to leave a review about the agency itself. They asked me to pay a deposit in order to run a reference check, but a few days later I was declined. It has now been three weeks and I still haven’t received my money back. The agency keeps saying they have contacted their accounting team and that the refund will be made soon, but I am considering whether I need to take legal action. I don’t understand why it takes so long to return a deposit after a rejection, and I believe this is a process the agency must fix. On top of that, because Aqeel told me the landlord would likely approve, I did not make an offer elsewhere and ended up losing that opportunity as well. Please don’t make the same mistake I did,do not pay a deposit right away. First confirm that the landlord has accepted the conditions before making any payment.
