12th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Definitely the best letting agency we have ever had!<br>We spent 3 wonderful years in our flat and would like to say a huge thank you to Kate, Jordan and the entire Cedar team.<br><br>Throughout our tenancy, whenever we needed any repairs or maintenance, Kate always responded quickly and arranged everything without any hassle.<br><br>During our second year, we had an issue with the dishwasher. They arranged a visit straight away and, as the dishwasher was quite old, quickly decided to replace it with a brand-new one. They also offered us a much better sofa they had available when the original one was getting quite old, which we really appreciated and enjoyed!<br>The whole team was always helpful, responsive and happy to assist with anything we needed.<br>We always felt very well looked after as tenants.<br><br>Towards the end of our tenancy, they also went out of their way to help find a new tenant quickly so that we could move out earlier than planned. They didn’t have to do this, so we really appreciated their help and flexibility.<br><br>If we ever move back to the West Hampstead/Kilburn area, Cedar will definitely be the first agency we contact. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the area.<br><br>Thank you so much, Kate, Jordan and the whole Cedar team, for looking after us so well over the past 3 years! ??

They were responsive, proactive, and did a great job keeping momentum with the initial listing. The team presented several offers.<br><br>Dan was particularly instrumental in taking the transaction from offer to completion. He was highly proactive, stayed closely involved throughout, was always available when needed, and did an excellent job coordinating the various parties to keep the sale moving forward. His persistence and communication made a real difference in getting the transaction over the line.<br><br>I would happily recommend Hamptons to anyone looking to sell their property in the area.

7th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience when contacting this agency to arrange a viewing.<br><br>At first, I explained that the property would be for me and my baby. The member of staff placed me on hold, and after waiting, the call ended. I called back and the same thing happened again. This occurred around three times, which I found very frustrating and unprofessional.<br><br>When I eventually explained that the property would be for myself, my partner, and our baby, I was told that the property would be too small for the three of us. I felt that I was given repeated excuses rather than a clear and helpful explanation.<br><br>I understand that not every property will be suitable for every applicant, but I believe customers should still be treated with respect, listened to, and given professional communication. Unfortunately, my experience with this agency did not feel professional or welcoming.

From my very first viewing right through to completion, Darren was incredibly responsive - I could message him with a question at almost any hour and he'd get back to me quickly with a clear, honest answer. He was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout what can normally be quite a stressful process, and he consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. If you're buying, selling or letting property, ask for Darren -- he'll take great care of you.

4th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)LOOK ELSEWHERE!!<br><br>One star, and only because zero isn't an option.<br><br>I rented through the West Hampstead branch for a year.<br>For the entire tenancy I repeatedly asked for letterbox keys and never received them. The property manager assigned to my flat changed several times over the year, so there was never anyone accountable and emails routinely went unanswered for weeks.<br><br>Checkout was worse. They proposed nearly £1400 in deposit deductions, including charges for pre-existing issues plainly visible in their own check-in report (a missing radiator cap documented as missing before I even moved in), £300 to clear a few small leftover items, and a £360 cleaning charge despite the full photographic record of the clean I provided. Every figure was a round number with no invoice attached.<br><br>The law puts the burden of proof for deposit deductions on the agent. This felt like a systematic attempt to monetise the deposit instead. Prospective tenants should look elsewhere.
