Peter's great expertise of the market is second to none. It provided me with comfort and a valuation I was very happy with. Summer was particularly superb at managing the sale process. She was very attentive and knowledgable of the finer details, while also efficiently keeping the solicitors on track. Great experience from start to finish, highly recommend.
4th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)How does this business make any money? Aren't they in the business of selling houses? A simple query like 'Can I talk to one of your valuers?' seems to be beyond them. I have rang this company 3 times over the last couple of months because I am thinking of putting my house on the market. The first time I was told the valuer would call me back. He never bothered. I rang again, and again was told the valuer was out on a call and would call me back. he never bothered. I rang a third time and asked to talk to the valuer. The lady at reception asked me questions and then went to talk to the valuer, I believe. Eventually, she hung up on me. Get your act together. You are in the business of selling houses. To sell houses, you need to talk to potential customers. When your receptionist tells a potential customer that you will call them back, then be true to your word and do so. Keep in mind how many estate agents there are in the Oadby area and you are competing with them for business. Answering telephone calls promptly and returning customer calls would be a good start for your business.

They have been so instrumental in my settling into Derby that I now relate with them as ‘family’. I will gladly and unreservedly recommend them over and beyond to anyone seeking a reputable letting agency. Thank you so much guys!!!

1st Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)We feel that the landlord service offered by Andrew Granger is excellent, they quickly arranged a new tenant for the property. We were looked after very well by Kiran Munder who replied quickly to all queries and arranged for the maintenance of the property to be done efficiently before the new tenant moved in.

3rd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Shocking service from Rosedale. Over exaggerated promises which fell extremely flat upon delivery. The advert wasn't correct from the start, I had to contact the agents three times to rectify. Even after all this it still wasn't right, and I'm talking basic, basic things such as putting the right rooms and windows on the floorplan, and features such as solar panels in the advert. It was like a child had written it. If I were an estate agent, I would have discussed the price with the vendor and mentioned the stamp duty thresholds fell close to my price bracket so it would be fortuatus to set the price as near to this threshold as possible. I waited for this "knowledge" from any of the Rosedale agents- again it never came. Oddly we had a viewing the very next morning, but then absolutely nothing for the best part of three months until I gave up, and gave them notice to cease their "services"! I did not have a single call from this office during this time, no updates, no mention of analysis and analytics of the market. Not once asking us if we wanted to adjust the price etc. Just nothing as if it wasn't even on the market with them. To add insult to injury our property was never even featured in their window, or on their social media pages, which was strange as many others were. Again was just told "sorry" no reason given for this. Another thing Rosedale bleet on about is drone footage on your property listing. Again this was never done for us. When I enquired, it was with the attitude, "well if you ask we can do these things" Why should I have to ask to get my advent right, ask to get any feedback, ask to get the selling tools they promise?! Who do they think is working for whom here?! Our sale board fell down shortly after it was erected, again me doing all the work informed them and no one was ever sent to put the board back up. After our property not surprisingly failed to sell, we took it off with Rosedale, I then had to ask them to come and collect the sales board. That was November and four months on the board was never collected! I am an experienced seller, ex landlord and have sold a few properties myself also. But honestly here I am shocked by the level of incompetence experienced here. It was such basic things, I can't believe they manage to sell anything. Must rely on inexperienced people and desperate sellers.

The whole team works very well together and rallies round to sort any queries, but most of our dealings were with Emily and Tina who were both excellent throughout the whole process.

They provide an outstanding service to both me the landlord, and also the tenants. The team in the office are all very friendly, very efficient and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs a professional estate agency to manage their buy to let investments.

We were buying a property that they had on the market and were unfortunately dealing with some less than supportive solicitors. Mel was amazing throughout and helped guide us through a very stressful process and helped us feel like our voices were heard. If it hadn't have been for the team at Hammond Properties, we likely would not have been able to move into our home before Christmas. A massive thank you to Mel and the team at Hammond Properties for their help in buying our first home.
14th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have not willingly been into an Estate Agents for years but after my recent experience with Fox & Sons , Goring I know where to go next time . Excellent service from their staff particularly Ben Dann. I wasn't buying or selling , I'm a first time landlord and I was struggling with some of the paperwork. Ben and his Lettings colleague put me straight. I felt I was being cheeky but after explaining my position they jumped to help me . Very polite , smart in appearance and willing to help. Nothing was too much. I would recommend them in future . Thank you Ben .

Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Extremely happy with the service we’ve received.

Throughout the process Winkworth of Bourne helped us every step of the way, always on hand with advice and guidance. Communication was excellent and they made us feel valued as customers. Adam and Millie professionally pulled everything together and helped us move on to the next chapter in our lives.

They are polite, proactive, and a pleasure to work with. It is clear as day that their buyers & sellers are in safe hands.
21st Jul 2025 (7 mo. ago)Everything was fine, until it wasn’t. This agency used a property management company without my knowledge, I thought I was employing local people in a small company. Instead I was dealing with a large company based remotely. They unfortunately failed to service and maintain the boiler in the property, one engineer even tried to complete a fraudulent gas safety certificate to cover up shoddy work. At one point it took them 12 months (and asking me to do it) to find a tree surgeon to provide a quote. All this has meant I had to file a complaint for compensation. This was another disaster, due to so many companies being involved no one gets back to me. I just leave message after message with no response, everyone is constantly “on the phone”, deadlines set by them are not kept, and the poor knowledge from them is frustrating. Would not recommend and will never use again. Was more work than managing property myself. Landlord who used Open House Leicester to manage property.
