2nd Mar 2019 (7 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible

7th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)Excellent experience overall. Bailey & Co were involved in both the selling and purchase sides of my chain. They managed to negotiate a great selling price on my flat in a very challenging market and always let me know straight away when appropriate properties for me came up buy. Which led to us finding our ideal house. Their sales progression team also did a great job of keeping me up to date on status of the chain and communicating with all parties quickly and efficiently when issues arose. I would definitely use them again. Thanks again to all the team at Bailey & Co for your hard work.
5th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)I would like to thank Gillian, for looking after the sale of my parents house as I live out of the county, I found her helpful and caring, always responding to my questions nothing was to much trouble for her, so we knew the sale of the house was in safe hands

21st May 2024 (1 year ago)I sent a request via rightmove to arrange a couple of viewings. I heard the next day and gave them my availability. The next week I chased them for an update and they didnt have me registered. They then registered me, and said they would contact the home owners to arrange...... 3 weeks later Im still waiting. Not sure how they plan to sell houses if they cant book viewings!!

17th Jun 2025 (9 mo. ago)Unprofessional and dishonest agent who refused and delayed repairs until the tenancy was over. Then attempted to charge more than the deposit to repaint the walls and conduct repairs while not providing evidence. Had to go through the deposit dispute process to recover my deposit. Massive waste of time for any renters, avoid at all costs.
16th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)brilliant expletive from start to finish with Instict. Michael kept in touch every step of the way he arranged all the viewings and there was nothing for us to stress about. Michael has very good knowlege and was able to also refer us on to other processionals within the industry. Praise would definitely use again
