Even though I wasn't paying them directly and I wasn't their client, they were hugely supportive, both professionally and personally when I was stressed and overwhelmed. They were so proactive and the only ones in the chain to be driving the process forward and offering constant help. I love my home and can't imagine ever moving but when I do I will definitely be selling with Mackenzie Smith.

The open day was an immense success, with 11 interested parties and 3 offers, 2 of which at the asking price. The house was marketed and sold within a week.

They kept us updated every step of the way, so we always knew what was happening, which made the whole buying process so much less stressful.<br><br>Everyone was incredibly friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful. The communication was fantastic throughout, and it really felt like they valued us as customers and wanted to do everything they could to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and any questions we had were answered quickly.<br><br>We couldn't recommend them enough and are so grateful for all of their support in helping us buy our new home. He provided a realistic valuation, provide a swift marketing service, having gone live on Monday, with two viewings within 24 hours and several scheduled for that week, both initial viewings yielded offers, one of which was at the full asking price. Property sold subject to contract as at 30 May 2026 I would highly recommend Charlton Grace, Mark has provided a bespoke/specialised service with clear communication and professionalism all at a very competitive agency rate, excellent job to date. 17th Jun 2026 (10 weeks ago)We sold our three bedroom house with Nicholsons, and found the team to be very professional, thoughtful and always one step ahead! We didn’t have to chase them and they helped us with chasing solicitors. They kept us well informed throughout the whole process, were always friendly when we contacted them and made a stressful process far less stressful! Plus they work really cohesively as a team and if our main contact was ever unavailable, the rest of the team were helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicholsons to anyone - brilliant service. Alex was our main contact and he was fantastic!

3rd Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I would not recommend Purplebricks services. I paid for a hosted viewings package as I was unable to conduct viewings myself. The first viewing was booked and confirmed by the hosted viewings team however the team failed to turn up to show the potential buyer the property, as a result they could not view the property. After I made a complaint I received an Armenia response form the hosted viewings team denying it was their fault. It also seems that out of spite the hosted viewings package was deactivated on my account, without my permission or request and unbeknown to me. A second viewing was booked which again, the hosted viewings team did not turn up to. Purplebricks effectively seemed to be trying their best to block the sale of my property by not allowing people to access my property. They could not provide a sufficient answer as to why they failed to turn up twice and I lost all confidence that they could sell my flat and as a result I took it off the market. The complaints process took several weeks to deal with my complaint and an initial offer of a £225 refund was an insult given that I paid £1499 for the package (hosted viewings listed as £899). A second and final offer saw a refund of £625, which is still no where near enough to pay me back for their failure to comply with the contract and the inconvenience I experienced given they significantly delayed the sale of my property.

Very helpful with enquiries and always happy to take the time to let us view the property again. They maintained good contact throughout the process and kept us in the loop with progress and solicitors. Would recommend!

They were extremely professional; with a genuine care for us as buyers, unlike some estate agents, they seem to really care! Jamie and Matt (owners) took time to regularly check in with us, made the process tick along smoothly, and have even followed up to see if we are doing well in our new home. They are extremely down to earth, and we found them honest and helpful.<br><br>Matt is extremely knowledgeable, a truly lovely bloke who is only too happy to offer helpful advice when you need it.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family, and will use them in the future for any other moves we may have.<br><br>Thank you to all of the team at Right Choice! 29th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)Not the best of places to look for a house if you’re looking to rent.<br><br>We have been renting since September of last year with Connells and at first they were great. As you would expect from an estate agency they’re all happy and friendly with you to get you on the door and into something that makes them money.<br><br>September is when we moved in after signing documents and everything we needed to. However, one document doesn’t seem to be accessible, which I thought may be an issue with either my phone or the website so I left it. The inventory. Until recently we have not been able to download or access the inventory sent to us that has been done by an “unbiased third party”. After looking back through the photos and notice a fair amount of damage that has not been recorded. Seems a little unfair and biased. These damages are not exactly cheap repairs. Floor tiles damaged, walls discoloured where the light catches it, boiler switches burnt from the boiler heat and so on.<br><br>I made a complaint to them regarding this as well as the complaints team and repairs team on the phone.<br><br>I’m the best way of explaining how they deal with the situation. It’s not their issue. They keep using any excuse to wiggle their way around not having to take responsibility for any of the previous damages bear in mind on our arrival we took photos.<br><br>We reported the damages to that the next tenants do not have the same issue as us. However, they are smartly wording emails to make out that we are responsible for damages, yes prior damages, and will most likely be billed at the end of our tenancy.<br><br>Suspicions of mine believe this is a way for them to keep your deposits. Especially when one of the tenants become vulnerable to disability and you have to follow the law and leave the property.<br><br>I have made my case clear with them and will fight it through the deposit protection scheme and if need be appoint legal services.<br><br>Please be careful when you go in they seem friendly but they will have you bent backwards into a corner to steal your money.
