Great communication and a very friendly, supportive team. I would highly recommend this company.

11th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)A few days ago, I visited a rental property and had a friendly conversation with Louise Pasker, the Lettings & Valuations Manager. We explored the house and talked about various topics. She promised to send my partner and I the necessary form, but she never did. My partner and I spoke more about the property the following day to weigh the pros and cons of the property. We were hesitant to commit to a home without thorough consideration. After really thinking it through and not just taking the property to have a home. Not one we didn’t find suited. It is unfortunate that Louise Pasker failed to provide the requested paperwork (if we were interested which last she heard we possibly interested) and did not respond to my partner’s email the day after. It is possible that she is experiencing annoyance, illness, or is part-time. In the event of illness, emails should be passed over to another colleague. If she is part-time, emails should also be passed over too. Regardless of her circumstances, it is unprofessional to: 1. Not reply to an email (in the email my partner also asked if they’re any other properties they have) 2. To not even send the forms she said she’d do Also, my partner sent another email today. Asking if Louise had seen the last email. Had no reply. It is very unprofessional to ignore someone’s emails that is asking questions.

As first-time buyers, we had a lot of questions and moments of stress, but throughout the whole process we felt supported, guided and reassured. Luke, Emma and Kyle were amazing! Always friendly, patient and incredibly quick to respond. They took the time to explain things clearly, kept us updated, and stepped in to help whenever something needed sorting. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for them, and that made such a difference for us. We’re incredibly grateful for their support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, especially first-time buyers! Thank you so much, Luke, Emma and Kyle, we really appreciate everything you did for us!

14th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)My friend and I have both rented with JCP, and while my experience was okay (which I put down to having a conscientious landlord rather than any doing of the agents themselves), I am giving a one star review because of the terrible experience of my friend with JCP and their landlord, who is the director of JCP. On leaving the property, the landlord tried to claim double the amount of the deposit in damages for false reports they had made on the final condition of the property. This was completely unjustified and was made especially painful considering the already existing issues with the property that the landlord failed to engage with them on throughout the tenancy; this all caused significant stress to my friend. I would not recommend JCP in the future because of this

19th May 2025 (9 mo. ago)In the beginning I was treated with keenness but once the property was advertised I received no feedback and had to keep chasing. I wasn’t even told I had a viewing which for me just added to the nonchalance of the overall experience. Sadly I feel quite disappointed by CJ Hole and would not consider using them again or recommending them.

2nd Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)I chose Boughtons over another mainly because of the all female staff, who had a more relaxed attitude. After an initial valuation which seemed, to me, a bit too high, they suggested a revision which then attracted viewings. We suffered a lag with the normal drop in viewings during the school break and then another drop as people waited for the budget. Despite this, Boughtons kept in touch and updated me throughout. Excellent Estate Agent

Stuart was a superstar through out the process and worked tirelessly to support the seller and indeed us and ensured the sale progressed as expected. He performed viewings without fault, went above an beyond and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Sadly we bought our forever home so we may not be using him anytime soon ????. Thanks Stuart.
13th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Hathaways took over management of our Oxford property in April this year, and so far have been a breath of fresh air - it's great to be working again with a family concern, and to feel that they care about us and our tenants. The only issue we had was that some documents were rather unclear, but they responded promptly to my feedback and updated the docs to fix this. Service has been friendly and efficient.
