6th Jan 2026 (18 weeks ago)The sale of Whirlow House was the sale of my family home of 48 years after the death of my second parent. We’d moved in, from another house in Kirby Muxloe, when I was 7 years old. Although I had moved out many years previously, the processing and clearing out of the house was a hugely emotional- not to mention physical- ordeal. I really needed an estate agent who ‘got it’ and got what it meant to me. Alex Broadley, who I did not previously know but I had seen flyers/cards for, was one of several estate agents I considered for the selling of Whirlow. It had to be Alex- he presented well and additionally, being Kirby Muxloe born and bred himself, he had unbeatable interest in the history and selling of the houses in this village especially, and crucially, he ‘got’ me. And Whirlow. And he had an accurate eye for potential buyer interest. He was also very astute and considered in dealing with my many queries. Alex made a hideous situational sale manageable and bearable and I cannot overstate the importance of that to me.

12th May 2021 (4 years ago)Excellent service. Claire and the Team at Saltash were fantastic. After making an offer on one property, which we then decided wasn't for us, we started searching again. Wainwrights were great and when we found our perfect property they helped everything run so smoothly. A big thank you for all their advice and assistance. Lovely people.
19th May 2017 (8 years ago)Awful agents to be a tenant with, use them if you want to be charge £125 every 12 months to have a date changed on your contract, if you want your deposit back be prepared to wait, aperently a bank transfer takes 5-7 working days! A company who cares only for landlords and the bottom line, company have left one very stressed out employee to run the branch single handedly. Stay clear if you can, but hay they can always find another mug to rent off them.

26th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)I have just had a building survey completed by Monk and Partners. It was very thorough and clear, with photos to illustrate the information. I found it very useful as a first time buyer. I also must highly recommend Charlotte Higgins who is incredibly helpful and a pleasure to communicate with. I hope that my purchase will be a forever home but, if I ever need to buy property again, I will definitely employ Monk and Partners for my survey.

9th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)After 10 days I changed estate agents as was not happy with Nest. They have no office they only advertise on Rightmove but didn't mention this before the ad went live. They were a grand more expensive than some other estate agents. My house was badly advertised at first like a kids Wendy house. No for sale sign turned up and I was given an EPC through the estate agent which was overpriced. This was all done by Oliver who was also about to go on leave for a week. I would not recommend Nest and only went with them as buying a new house through them.

28th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)The staff in the Clevedon office are fantastic. Friendly, warm and approachable. I found the owners of the company to be rude and ignorant. On two occasions its taken over a week to respond to my emails. You would think as a new office they would do what's needed to stay proactive but this hasn't been my experience.
