8th Jul 2022 (3 years ago)I am delighted with the result achieved by Jag at Your Choice. At his suggestion the house was marketed at about £20k more than was proposed by another agent. Jag said that he had a number of prospective buyers who would be interested in this property. I approved the marketing details on a Thursday afternoon. The advert appeared online on Friday and the following Monday there were 11 viewings with an offer at the asking price received within 48 hours. 4 months from start to completion of which 7 weeks was a delay waiting for probate to be granted.

30th Jul 2025 (7 mo. ago)Overall experience was extremely positive and the initial impression was that this was an agent that cared about selling your house, rather than just earning money doing it. Interest was very poor at the start and, while I was assured that the house should be attracting interest it just wasn't. Unsurprisingly dropping the price helped, but I would want my agent to guide me to say what interest it might get dropping the price, or to advise holding out rather than just waiting for me to take action. Nevertheless, working with Wilbys was great, they were always easy to speak to, responsive, and great with enquiries and booking viewings when they came in. No complaints on the customer service side at all. Would absolutely use them again.

24th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)Have been horrifically harassed by my next door neighbour who Movemaker are letting agent for. Rang several times complaining of domestic abuse within the home (including police) and neighbour keying my car, tipping a FULL wheelie bin of his rubbish bin on to my property and throwing dog feaces while being verbally abusive, all when intoxicated. This letting agent ignored my complaints which has resulted in police and CPS involvement, also, I was informed by police that they were not letting the owner of property know all this abuse was happening to me and was kept a secret. I would not recommend anyone to rent their property through them.
23rd Jul 2020 (5 years ago)Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness What an absolute atrocious and useless company. I have been trying to get a hold of Andrew to talk about a property in which had an offer accepted on (which is currently going through my solicitor) only to be blanked and ignored! I have finally received an email to tell me that the seller no longer wants to sell to me - no reason given. They have not also informed my solicitor. They have wasted my time and my money, and also have been wasting my solicitors time!! AVOID!!!!.....Useless you like being ignored, then to be emailed in an unprofessional manner!

15th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.

8th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)Recently bought a house, and NJG Estate Agents were representing the seller. I honestly can’t express how well Nick Grobler handled everything from start to finish. The process ended up taking longer than expected (through no one’s fault), but Nick stayed on top of it the whole way — even while on holiday, he was taking calls and sorting out issues so things could move forward. When the house ran into a bit of trouble, Nick didn’t just sit back or hide behind a phone — he was hands-on, dealing with things directly and making sure everyone stayed in the loop. You could tell he genuinely cared about getting things done properly. He told me he’d look after me , and he really did. I’d trust NJG Estate Agents — and especially Nick — any day. Proper professional, but also down-to-earth and reliable.

16th May 2025 (10 mo. ago)I just wanted to say if you are looking to sell your house, definitely look to use Rockello real estate! I had another agent say to me “ ooh but they’re very new!!” YES they are but that makes them keen, on the ball and hard working!!! Harry and Niall are great guys, down to earth, straight talking and honest! There’s none of the scripted crap that you can get from others and they make you feel like you are their only customer! Also the best thing is they are much cheaper than the other agents around us!! My house had only been on the market with them 8 days when they showed my buyer around! It has all happened so quickly and if you go on their pages you will see how many properties they are selling quickly!
