We were extremely satisfied to have such proactive estate agent managing our first home purchased. Could not recommend Lily and Mayfair enough, the process was streamlined as much as possible with the given circumstances. Thanks again to Lily and the team and Mayfair in Beaminster.

18th Dec 2025 (20 weeks ago)Sarah Cull and here team were amazing and we were so pleased with the service we received. Nothing was too much trouble and after hours calls were never a problem. A special mention for Carola who carried out the viewings and was so respectful of our property. We had multiple offers in a difficult market and it took under 6 weeks from offer accepted to exchange - the buyers were a perfect match for our much-loved home. An excellent experience all round.
24th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)From the moment the phone was picked up at the office we felt as if we were treated as the only customers and nothing was too much trouble. There was professional timely communication, and regular updates. Advice was readily given and the sales team proactively managed the sale and after sales process. We highly recommend Tim, Nikki, Claire and the whole team. We spoke to 4 estate agents to organise our sale, although initially the most expensive this was more than recouped when, the highest sales figure was attained within 2 weeks, with minimal stress. This was the only agent to prepare a hosted video tour of the property with a drone presentation of the views and rural aspect attracting multiple buyers from out of the county, predominately buyers who wanted to relocate. The sales negotiators came to our house before any viewings to familiarise themselves with all the selling points. Our buyers travelled from out of county & were a busy working family who upon first viewing had a good knowledge of our property and drawings for alterations based on the guided video tour and package. The marketing model could not have been better. We would use this company to view properties remotely before committing our time to travel if buying.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Excellent communication, attention to detail and don't take on too many clients (unlike some other agents I considered) and so had the time to be thorough and do a great job, going above and beyond what I expected. Jules negotiated an unexpectedly good sale price for my house and, with the additional support of Nicola at the Whitfields office to progress the sale, really helped keep everything on track. Both buyer and seller are treated with respect and honesty and there is regular communication with both parties right through to completion.

14th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I used House of Jackson removals (part of Charles Barnard estate agents) to transport all of my belongings to my new home. Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!

20th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)Complete disaster. Ruined my first time buyer experience. Messages were inappropriate asking to go out for drinks to celebrate and give me my keys. He got funny and defensive and told me I was ungrateful when I questioned why my property wasn't ready by the date he said it would be and that resulted in me being homeless for two weeks. Then I got the wrong keys two weeks later and it was late so I had to find somewhere else to sleep which also meant I had to delay my moving van because I had to arrange collection of correct keys in morning. I actually got my friend to get the keys because I felt too uncomfortable. It should have been exciting my first experience and Nest associates ruined that.
