8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)I sold my house in Northenden with Reeds Rains (Didsbury) this Summer. David did the initial viewing and valuation. He came prepared and with reassuring enthusiasm. The pricing strategy was realistic and with a great marketing package, generated the initial interest we were hoping for. We arranged days of multiple viewings (reducing the number of times I had to get the house ‘sale ready’) and sold the house quickly. After our first buyer pulled out, the team were so supportive and quickly began the process again. Within days we had more offers to choose from and sold above asking price. I’m so grateful to David, Anna and the team - thank you!
21st Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Very quick responses and helpful team, George was very accommodating and helped me get viewings set up. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone buying or selling a property.

29th Sep 2026 (28 days ago)I honestly don’t know where to start with this agency. Every part of my experience with them was frustrating, disorganised, and unnecessarily stressful.

From day one, communication was a constant battle. Half the time it felt like our emails were being ignored, and when someone did reply, the tone was cold and rude as if asking for basic information was somehow an inconvenience.

I was involved in a tenant swap process to replace one of the people in a two-person joint tenancy agreement, that was my first ever interaction with this agency and the whole process was a complete mess. Instead of guiding me through it, they left me chasing them for every tiny detail. They couldn’t even coordinate dates properly with the other tenant, which ended up forcing me to change my move-in date. All of this could have been avoided with the slightest bit of organisation.

But the worst part was the deposit. Enormous headache. They came back with a list of claims that didn’t match reality at all things that were never missing, “issues” that simply didn’t exist, and charges for items worth next to nothing at hugely inflated prices. They even tried to blame us for damage that had already been recorded in the inventory before we moved in. When we pushed back, communication suddenly slowed to a crawl or stopped altogether, almost as if they were hoping we’d just give up.

We ended up taking it to the mediator to resolve the situation, paying them nothing in the end, which honestly says everything about how unfair their claims were.

Overall, a big thumbs down from me. Dealing with this agency was exhausting. Disorganised, unhelpful, rude communication, and a deposit process that felt like they were trying to squeeze money out of us for things we weren’t responsible for. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before renting through them.
12th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)House was a state upon moving in. We had mice rats and spiders galore as well as various code violations including a tilted oven and a gas stove blocking the fire door . When it came to moving out I was charged £50 for a mark that was supposedly on my bedroom wall, however the picture they used as evidence was as a different room. Save yourself some money and stress and don’t move in to a property managed by these money hungry, scammers. Also take note of how all the good reviews here are for viewings and not for how well they manage the properties.
26th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)Thanks to Bergins estates for the help selling my property. Mike has been great from start to finish in the sale I could not off asked for more . 5 star service and highly recommend .. thank you again

19th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)I take no satisfaction in saying this is a very unprofessional disorganised outfit. I let my house out through them and initially seemed ok but soon turned out to be a nightmare. Phone calls and emails are very rarely returned or answered, the guy dealing with my house…Sam is off on a Monday so everything is put on hold until he returns and he remembers to get back to you. Payments frequently late without any reason or explanation and to top it all when tenants were moving out after having given notice they left it until a month before to re advertise it which resulted in my property standing empty for 6 weeks. I’ve since changed to a much more professional firm with whom I’m very happy. In the last two weeks I’ve sent an email and spoken to someone on the phone as i needed a tax statement for the year….you won’t be surprised to discover there’s nothing been forthcoming. Avoid like the plague.
24th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking company, will try take all the deposit no matter what and really bad communication
