25th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)We have just had the pleasure of using Sharp Estate agents for the sale of our mothers home due to bereavement and I must say what a pleasure it was to do business with them. Right fro the start Lorna came round to view the house and she arrived with all the information and was very positive about a sale and quoted a very good price that she said she hoped to achieve in the region of. We also had other agents round to quote but Sharps gave us most confidence, so we went with them. All through the sale we found Sharps to be very helpful and professional and didn't mind us changing the original format to suite us. Once into the sale Sharon was also found to be very helpful.<br>All this resulted in a sale within reasonable time and a price we were both happy with. Thanks all at Sharps estate agents for a wonderful experience. Ian and David.

29th Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)Well when you call a voice recording says they are base on their reputation and well sadly I cant say its a good one booked to view a house and waited and had to phone in the end and it wasn't booked in which in my opinion its not professional and feel very disappointed

29th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)A thank you just doesnt seem enough! We have recently sold our home with Property Shop Accrington and they are beyond amazing! We had a negative time with the previous agents and things just changed massively when we moved to Property Shop. From valuation, to all the viewings and the amazing customer service provided by Beth. We were always kept updated and i genuinely felt Beth wanted the best for us, she was always available to answer questions and always kept us in the loop, she is a real trooper and so friendly & polite. The same goes for the other staff and also Natalie in completions, always friendly and efficient, nothing ever too much trouble. The staff are a credit to this place. We have been so happy from start to finish! Thank you x
3rd Oct 2024 (2 years ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.

They set up a Whatsapp group to keep us informed of progress and were very quick to respond to any questions we asked. They were polite and courteous whilst friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt listened to and valued throughout. Our house was marketed very promptly, the photographs and information were superb. The cherry on the cake - the house was sold within 2 days of advertising, above the asking price! I would urge anyone selling their property to contact W&J Properties - you won't be disappointed!

5th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)The level of communication, organisation and professionalism throughout this process has been absolutely appalling.<br><br>We viewed property nearly 5 weeks ago and on the very same day as our viewing we said that we wanted to proceed and asked for the application forms.<br><br>The property was advertised as council tax band D but I questioned this and it was in fact council tax band A.<br><br>It then took three working days for them to send the application — and only after we chased them.<br><br>We completed and returned everything, yet it took another three working days for them to even acknowledge that they had received our application.<br><br>Then, almost three weeks after we had viewed the property, the landlord contacted us asking whether we had actually viewed it. We chased the estate agent and were told that our application had been sent to the landlord. The landlord subsequently told us that he had not received it.<br><br>We were then told they would begin the referencing process. More delays followed.<br><br>Over a week ago, they sent our guarantor the incorrect paperwork. When we chased them about it, we were told that the director was on annual leave and they couldn’t send the correct paperwork until he returned at the end of the week.<br><br>Then, this morning, after nearly five weeks since our viewing, we were simply told that the property had gone to someone else.<br><br>The entire process has been a catalogue of delays, poor communication, conflicting information and excuses. We repeatedly had to chase for basic updates and paperwork. At no point did we feel that our application was being dealt with professionally or with any urgency.<br><br>What makes this particularly frustrating is that we were ready and willing to proceed from the day we viewed the property. We were able to move in to the property immediately. We completed what was required of us, yet somehow our application spent weeks being passed around while we were left chasing for information.<br><br>I completely understand that properties can go to other applicants — that isn’t the issue. The issue is the unacceptable way this application was handled and the lack of honesty, communication and urgency throughout.<br><br>After nearly five weeks of being led to believe the application was progressing, being told different things by different people and repeatedly having to chase them, being told this morning that the property has gone to someone else is extremely disappointing.<br><br>I would absolutely not recommend this estate agent. If you are looking to rent a property, be prepared to constantly chase them and don’t expect clear or timely communication.<br><br>A very stressful experience made considerably worse by the people who were supposed to be handling the process and now leaving me with a week to find another property before my notice from my current house is up after 13 years living here for their son to move in.

28th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with this letting agency was extremely disappointing. Throughout my tenancy, communication was often unprofessional and intimidating rather than helpful. Instead of treating tenants with respect, I frequently felt pressured and dismissed whenever I raised concerns. I was served notice to leave the property with the explanation that the landlord wanted to take it back. However, shortly afterwards, I found the same property being advertised for rent again at the same price. This left me feeling that I had not been given the real reason for ending my tenancy. The return of my deposit was also handled very poorly. It took more than 60 days to receive my deposit back, with the agency repeatedly stating that the landlord was holding it. As the managing agency, I expected them to resolve this much more efficiently. They also proposed deductions for cleaning, despite the fact that I had professionally cleaned the property, spent additional money repainting parts of the house, and left it in excellent condition. When I asked for photographs or any evidence to justify the deductions, none was provided. As an international tenant whose first language is not English, I often felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was at a disadvantage during discussions. Overall, I found this to be one of the least professional letting agencies I have dealt with. I believe good letting agencies should communicate honestly, treat tenants fairly, and support both landlords and tenants in a transparent and professional manner. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
