Although I did not end up renting a property through Chancellors Finchley, he consistently shared suitable options and was helpful in trying to find places that matched my requirements. Communication was clear, and he was prompt in following up and arranging choices to consider. I appreciate his effort and would recommend him to anyone looking for a proactive and supportive lettings negotiator.

5th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Appalling handling of tenancy deposit — avoid We vacated our property at Masters Court, Harrow on 30 January 2026 in good condition, and over a month later we have still not received our deposit back. The handling of this entire process by Connells has been deeply disappointing. Despite sending multiple emails and attempting to call numerous times, we have received nothing but vague responses saying they are "still liaising with the former landlord." No clear timeline, no transparency, and no accountability. Phone calls have gone unanswered, and no direct contact number has been provided despite requests. The items flagged in the checkout report are standard fair wear and tear under TDS guidelines — minor wall marks, limescale build-up typical of Harrow's hard water, None of these justify withholding our deposit. To make matters worse, wife is 24 weeks pregnant, and the unnecessary financial stress caused by this prolonged delay has had a real impact on her mental health and wellbeing. This is completely unacceptable. We have now raised a formal dispute through the tenancy deposit scheme, which should never have been necessary. We have never experienced such poor deposit handling with any previous letting agency. If you are a prospective tenant — be warned. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

He found us lovely new tenants within 2 weeks and he sorted all the paperwork ,references etc within days .Would definetly recommend

A special thank you to Mesut, who acted as my mortgage broker throughout the process. Mesut was exceptional — incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always available to guide me through each step. He made what can be a very complex and stressful process feel much smoother and clearer. What really stood out was his dedication and reliability. He guided me through each stage with care and professionalism, ensuring everything progressed smoothly and efficiently. It felt like having someone truly on your side throughout what can otherwise be a very complex process. I would also like to thank Georgia, who was amazing at chasing the solicitors and keeping the process moving forward, and Riley, whose availability and support throughout the journey were greatly appreciated. A very professional and supportive team from start to finish. I would highly recommend their services.100% recommended.

I met Soraya, who is a very sweet and kind lady, and within six days I had the keys to our first rental. They were very professional and super quick to respond to messages. I highly recommend them!

19th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.
23rd Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Absolutely horrible experience. Flat flooded with water, bedrooms and beds absolutely soaked in disgusting dirty water, estate agents told us to book hotels and we’d get compensation, never did though. Never gave us a single penny back. Also told us we had to pay full rent even though the flat was uninhabitable. Bodrul was the worst of it, kept promising that he’d get in touch with us about getting us some money back, then never did. AVOID AVOID AVOID, disgusting estate agents with no morals. See the photos attached for the condition they left us in. I had to get in touch with plumbers and workers myself to get it fixed, they did absolutely nothing to help fix the leak upstairs as they claimed it had been fixed, when it was just getting worse every day. One of the estate agents even came over to view the damage, stood in a pool of the dirty water and muttered “get me out of this dump” thinking I didn’t hear him. Absolutely vile. Edit in response to the comment below: Firstly, I find it laughable that you say you acted promptly and actually blatant lie that you attended the same day. I'm actually glad you've admitted about the report being on the 24th of April, as the video and some of the photos taken below (with the water STILL dripping down) were taken on the 29th of April. I wonder how that's possible since you acted so promptly! Don't insult me by saying that my statement is incorrect, the plumbers I contacted were Camden Council's own plumbers. I have the voice note and recordings to prove this, and again, further proof that was me who sorted out the repairs to the upstairs flat. It's absolutely disgusting that you're trying to call me a liar in this situation, as I have actual proof that the statement is true. In fact, you are lying here saying it was Camden Council who told us to book into hotels, it was one of your staff who told us when he came to the flat who told us to submit receipts about a hotel expense! How can you so confidently lie about the turn of events? You've lied about the day it was fixed (I have dated evidence to show it wasn't fixed promptly on the 24th), you lie about who I contacted to actually fix the issue since you wouldn't do it (I have voice notes speaking with Camden Council plumbers to prove this), and you now lie about telling us to book into hotels. You did not relay any information to me, nor did you ever actually admit what the outcome of the insurance claim was. We're yet to ever find out about that, and it's funny that you don't mention that in your response!
13th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Maple Estate Agents. This has been one of the worst services I have ever received from an estate agency. Communication has been very poor and my formal complaint regarding issues at the property has been completely ignored despite multiple emails. I was left to deal with an unresolved electricity dispute directly with the landlord and received no support from the agency, even though the tenancy was arranged through them. Professional assistance and proper guidance were expected but unfortunately not provided. Overall, the lack of response, accountability, and support has made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend Maple Estate Agents based on my experience.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!- 2nd Dec 2023 (2 years ago)I would never recommend the estate agent to anyone.

He was professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the whole process, always quick to respond to any questions and keeping everything running smoothly. I’d happily recommend Jeremy to anyone looking to rent in the area.
17th Mar 2026 (1 day ago)Valuation agent clearly knew his market as he priced the house higher than two others and was correct. Had figures to back up his pricing, which was reassuring. Follow up post sale/pre-completion was good, as were communications. Would certainly use again.
