3rd Sep 2024 (1 year ago)We already knew of JAS Campbell after having purchased a property in West Kilbride, North Ayrshire, through their estate agents. So we were very pleased to place the sale of our property in the hands of the staff there. They were extremely efficient and couldn't be more helpful with any issues that arose during the process. Communications, a critical issue for those coping with the stress of selling or buying properties, was outstanding at all times. We whole-heartedly recommend JAS Campbell to anyone who are now at the stage of considering the sale of their property. Thanks to all at JAS Campbell, lang may yer lum reek! Simon & Lizzie Oakden
30th Mar 2026 (21 weeks ago)Peter Murray made an illegal will for my uncle, Sir Michael Maxwell Bt, in 2013, who was in the depths of frontal lobe dementia (this was against medical and legal advice). They were the sole executor and sole witness to this will. Micheal had been sectioned and told he could not make a will in England prior to this. They hid a relevant doctor’s letter which was only extracted by lawyers. The firm has refused to admit liability despite overwhelming and unequivocal evidence and caused huge headache a heartache for our family over the past 5 years and huge legal costs. They are unprofessional and to be avoided at all costs. They have also stopped family staying at our family home - Monreith- and prevented my mother’s burial there. It is disgusting. The contents of the will are inconceivable to all family and destroy our family’s 800 year history in Dumfries and Galloway.

25th Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)We have been absolutely delighted with the service we received from Vivien and her colleagues at Galbraiths in Ayr which totally exceeded our expectations in every way. Vivien looked after us flawlessly from start to finish, with daily phone calls and endless charm and enthusiasm. Our farm and land were beautifully marketed, the photos and drone footage were superb and marketing reached far and wide. We received numerous viewers and sold the property promptly at a good price. The personal, friendly and professional service was so reassuring as Vivien helped and advised at every stage of the process and spent as much time as we needed to ensure a seamless sale. We cannot thank Vivien and Galbraiths enough and would definitely recommend to other sellers for a top class, personalised sales experience.

27th Jul 2016 (10 years ago)The purpose of this review is not to be defamatory or be untrue it is simply an account of my experience of MacPhee & Co. So here is my sorry story. I employed MacPhee & co to sort out legally the custody of my daughter. While I had no problem as lawyers they were actually rather good. The problem started When I received a substantial bill, quite simply I felt they did not keep me informed as to what kind of fees they were running up. When after numerous and phone calls it became apparent that I couldn’t pay their fees straight away and despite agreeing that I pay in installments as quickly as I could. With 2 working days notice they resigned from the case leaving me unrepresented. Now in fairness they did give me a long time to pay the fees that was small comfort as due to trying to represent my self I lost nearly 50% of the access I had to my daughter prior to getting involved with them. This review is purely an account of my experience and I am not recommending you use them or not. The decision dear reader is yours. Finally despite legal letters promising all sorts of actions from them I’m still giving them one star.
7th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)I just wanted to say, very early stages, but I just phoned to enquire about a property and the lady I spoke with was so knowledgeable, helpful and cooperative. I have had disappointing experiences with Taylor and Henderson, who were borderline rude and genuinely seemed to have no interest in selling the properties or any information at all. I was actually dreading calling another estate agent and I was so pleasantly surprised by how good Coast were.

15th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Took my case with roger colledge he then got an advocate from glasgow named susan duff she told me one the day of me giving evidence she was not bringing in my two main wittness another witness was told to keep her answers to a minamal ended up doing 7 years through poor lawyers representing me tried last week speaking to gavin orr to take the case back on for an appeal against the conviction and he point blanked refused would not recommend this firm to anybody please use someone that cares for their clients cause this lot dont
