25th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)Thanks to the entire Westcoast Properties team for all their hard work in managing my Bristol property over the last 16-odd years (4 with Weston, 6 with Patchway, and 6 more in the Haig-Patey days). Letting a property always involves some stress, but the Westcoast team have managed to keep it to a bare minimum by always being responsive, always finding good tenants and quickly, and managing every aspect of maintenance and repairs when they have been needed. If you need a letting agent that can take care of everything, look no further.

29th Oct 2025 (20 weeks ago)From the valuation right up until being SSTC (which we are at present so cannot comment any further as I don’t have a crystal ball!) Sam has been absolutely fantastic. He was very honest during the valuation, did not try to pressure sell us, and allowed us to come back to him in our own time after obtaining other valuations. We felt it was an honest and fair valuation that had market evidence to back it up. Sam set up a WhatsApp group which was so helpful for quick communication, and we managed to sell our house in 2 weeks. He also helped us with knowing what and how to offer on our next property, which we have now secured. Even still through the sale process Sam and the team are always on hand if our buyers have any questions for us, or we have any questions in general. He was also a great help in helping us find decent local solicitors. Very smooth process so far - far above expectations.

6th Jan 2019 (7 years ago)I have been letting my property as landlord through this agency for over eleven years.U live overseas and am a distance landlord but I do not feel my tenants miss out. Blocks and Barlow source me nice tenants and I respect the advice they give me.

Unfortunately I guess my property being a “Holiday flat” was not the right time to sell during the Autumn/Winter….. I have now other means of moving to my permanent property and hope to be settled soon…. This property may well be rented till we find out what we will be doing…….

While the process didn’t always go completely smoothly (as is often the case with property), the team at Farrons were excellent throughout. They kept everything tied together, communicated clearly, and kept us informed at every stage, which made a huge difference. We stuck by them throughout the process, and they absolutely delivered. Pricing was fair, the service was professional, and the support we received was second to none. A special mention to Jo and Andrew, who were both fantastic, along with the rest of the team who worked hard behind the scenes. Thanks to Farrons, we’re now happily settled in our new home. 19th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)We just recently moved from Bristol to Cheddar. Laurel & Wylde weren't our estate agents but they were for our purchase. Jane May was excellent from start to finish she kept us updated (not only us the whole chain). I do believe if it wasn't for Jayne the move might not of happened. A massive thank you Jayne. If anyone is looking for help in selling & moving Laurel & Wylde are an absolute must 10 out of 10.
2nd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Cooper and Tanner Lettings Ltd were employed by our Landlord to oversee the serving of a section 21 notice (submitted for no reason by the landlord other than he wanted to raise the rent by 25%). This was delayed as we had to involve environmental health due to damp, mould, rats and broken hinges on windows. Caroline Peebles-Brown was initially supportive, stating that we had done our best to maintain the property and it was in much better condition than the landlord had suggested - although the landlord (Colin Leach) had not redcorated, recarpeted or repaired any of the property for our 9 year tenure. She also confirmed that any damage to colouring of the walls was due to age and not nicotine (neither of us smoked). Her stance soon changed and we felt that she had been devious in her initial approach with us. The section 21 notice was issued as soon as possible (after a long list of jobs to be completed had been submitted by environmental health). Both my housemate and I are clased as vulnerable due to illness and this was never considered or taken into account. Having no choice but to request a subject access request regarding the use of our personal data, we received copies of specific emails between Caroline and the landlord, colluding together regarding the return of our deposit. Although this company acted as our agents for only a short period (and I believe no longer act on behalf of the landlord), they were deceitful, inconsiderate, more concerned with completing the list of jobs given to them by enviromental health than considering our mental health (we had workmen arrive at short notice and on the weekends) and were unprofessional. If you are a tenant looking to rent a property through this company, I would wait until the new legislation comes in, early next year.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!

The whole process of renting with them is so speedy and organised. Out of everywhere in burnham on sea, they are without a doubt the best! Thank you so much for all your help.

27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Anthony was Incredible; this is a boutique estate agent and focuses on every little detail to ensure the house is sold. From the premium photography to the realistic market valuation of the flat. We got an offer accepted within 2 weeks.
9th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)If you’re a student, I’d seriously think twice before renting with this agency. From the start, the flat was handed over in a poor condition but labelled “professionally cleaned.” Then when we moved out, they tried to hit us with an absurd cleaning fee on top of everything else. When I pushed back, they shifted the blame instead of taking responsibility. Thankfully, the independent deposit adjudicator ruled in our favour, which pretty much says everything about how fair their claim really was. The whole thing was way more stressful than it needed to be. If you end up/already are renting through them, document absolutely everything, keep records and don’t be scared to challenge unfair charges. And I’m clearly not the only one — a quick look at the other 1* reviews says a lot. Honestly — if you can, just rent somewhere else.

14th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I used House of Jackson removals (part of Charles Barnard estate agents) to transport all of my belongings to my new home. Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
