2nd Dec 2025 (23 weeks ago)Not the greatest experience. Edit: I’ve just seen the response from the business and they’ve actually lied (clearly got customers mixed up), this is not what happened and I’ve now changed my review to a 1 star. Would definitely not recommend, what a shocking service.
3rd Mar 2026 (10 weeks ago)We had a great experience with Ellis & Co so far. We had been looking for a house with a garden that is pet friendly. The house we found was lovely but unfortunately full with Carpet . When I mentioned it to the Realtor Emilia she then went out of her way to support us and change the Carpet into Wood Flooring which made this lovely house into our new home :-) we moved in last Weekend and are looking forward to a healthy long term relationship together.

6th Dec 2025 (22 weeks ago)I had a very bad experience with this agency. I left a £300 holding deposit, but they refused to offer the 3-month tenancy I clearly asked for from the beginning. Instead, they tried to force a 12-month contract, which I never agreed to. When the tenancy could not proceed because they refused my request, they also refused to refund my holding deposit. This is not professional and goes against the Tenant Fees Act 2019. Communication was poor, and they did not provide clear information from the start. I do not recommend this agency.
11th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)Mylako have dealt with my concerns and challenges to do with the management of my flat and the building in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Businesses are made up of people and Mylako has some great professionals working there who take the needs and situations of their customers very seriously and it shows with the correction of issues relating to works needing to be done, accounts to be paid and a myriad of other things for which a capable and willing managing agent is essential

Throughout this time I have purchased properties with their support and they support me with my rentals. Phil and Paul have been excellent committed professionals for the duration of the time I have worked alongside them and communication has always been excellent. The whole team, and in particular Michele, helped me immensely through my journey as a landlord and as a seller. I had great tenants, both of whom remained in the property for many years without any issue, and Michael Morris was always on hand to provide assistance to both them and myself. I highly recommend anyone considering letting or selling a property to choose Michael Morris.

They have always been really friendly ,helpful, and easy to deal with. Anytime I’ve needed anything they’ve been there and the service has always been great. Would definitely recommend.

28th Mar 2020 (6 years ago)After struggling to sell my house I stumbled upon Big Black Hen. I decided to call them for an initial chat. I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service
6th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing. I was searching for a studio flat for a short-term let and contacted the office several times. Unfortunately, my calls were either rejected or I was told I would receive a call back to arrange a viewing, which never happened. When I did manage to speak with someone, the level of professionalism was disappointing. The agent I spoke to seemed uninterested in answering basic questions and the conversation felt very dismissive. One Saturday late last year I decided to visit the office in person. The shutters were down, which seemed unusual during opening hours, and through the window I could see a member of staff asleep on the sofa. After that, it became clearer why my calls had been going unanswered. Overall, the experience left a very poor impression and felt quite unprofessional.

4th Dec 2025 (22 weeks ago)It was a very emotional time for me because as executor I was selling my recently deceased mother’s house. I relied on Knights Residential advice on getting her house ready for sale and the kind of selling price we could expect to achieve. Also as I had not lived in the area personally for over 30 years I relied on Kinghts Residential for recommendations on the solicitors to use. In the end I ended up selling the house to a family member. The whole process was made easier because we all accepted the professional advice from Tony Koumourou Sales Director.

29th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)I honestly don’t even know where to begin with how awful my experience with IDM Properties was. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. First off, the communication was appalling. Emails from Sascha and Cristina were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of offering assistance or addressing concerns, their responses were dismissive and condescending. They made me feel like I was a nuisance for even reaching out. What’s worse, they take absolutely no accountability when they make mistakes and never apologise. I have had numerous situations where they’ve done something wrong—whether it was a missed repair, inaccurate report, or even lying about basic details—but not once did they own up to it. They simply brush it off and act as if it’s not their problem. The renewal process was another nightmare. I reached out 6 weeks before the end of our first tenancy to ask about renewing the contract and the new terms. I was told "You will hear about it 8 weeks before the end of your tenancy." So, I waited and waited, but we didn’t hear anything for two months after our tenancy had officially ended. And then, when they finally did get in touch, they rushed us into making a decision almost immediately, with no regard for the time we’d been left hanging. Then there’s the issue of repairs. If you want anything fixed, be prepared for an agonising wait. In the middle of winter, it took them 5 weeks to fix the heater. 5 weeks without proper heating during one of the coldest months. The balcony door took 3 weeks and several visits before it was finally ‘repaired’ – but not fully fixed because that required another part that we never heard back about. The washing machine? 5 weeks to replace it. And the dishwasher? 4 weeks. It was always the same. They require multiple pictures and video from different angles before they believe there is a problem and then nothing ever got done on time. You are made to feel you are in the wrong for chasing. One of the most infuriating parts of this experience was how they lied about things. For example, during a mid-tenancy inspection, they claimed we had bikes and suitcases in the hallway. This was absolutely untrue, so we disputed it. Cristina’s response? "It’s in the report, so it has to stay." We insisted that neither of us owns a bike, and only then did she grudgingly remove the bike from the report, but she still insisted the suitcases had to stay on the list, even though we didn’t have any! It was clear they were just making things up to try and pin blame on us. Another example of their dishonesty: I asked Cristina if I could have the code for the building door in case I ever forgot my access fob and to let my dogwalker in. She told me that the code had been disabled and was no longer in use (even though I had seen people using the code!!!). But then, one day, I had a large delivery left at my door, and to my surprise, the code was written on the box! It was clear they had lied to me about something as simple as that. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the property itself was in terrible condition. There were issues with plumbing, the drains flow upwards (I was actually told this by a plumber!) so we had to use plughole unblocker monthly to stop the shower and sinks overflowing. The toilets flush into each other, the extractor fan just goes into the ceiling (this is another repair story that took over a year to fix). At the end of our tenancy, they tried to deduct £550 from our deposit. We challenged this through the Deposit Protection Scheme and eventually got all but £102 of our deposit back. Do yourself a favour and avoid IDM Lettings at all costs. Their incompetence, dishonesty, lack of professionalism, incredibly rude communication from Sascha and Cristina, and shocking delays with repairs and contract renewals have made this the worst renting experience I’ve ever had. And don’t expect any accountability or apologies from them—they simply don’t care. Avoid them if you value your time, money, and sanity. One star is over generous.

From the very beginning, Trupti and the team have been incredibly supportive, professional, and easy to communicate with. Any time an issue came up—whether it was maintenance, documentation, or general queries—they responded quickly and always made sure things were resolved smoothly. One of the things I appreciated most was their flexibility. They consistently worked around my schedule, which made everything—from inspections to repairs—so much more convenient. Communication was always easy and professional—Trupti especially was a joy to deal with, always approachable, proactive, and genuinely kind, making the entire experience feel personal and stress-free.
